Southern hospitality is generously extended at this inn near historic Savannah, Georgia, just steps from the beach. Sip refreshments amid the wicker furnishings on the wraparound porch accented by ceiling fans. Play the baby grand piano in the airy sitting room. Guest rooms are elegant and artistic as well as warm and inviting. Most feature a clawfoot tub and shower, small refrigerator and DVD player. Stuart's famous daily breakfast in the dining room is not to be missed. Tybee Island is a haven for bird watchers with a part of the beach a national wildlife refuge. Old fashioned love finds a comfort here in the nostalgic cottage surroundings of Lighthouse Inn. Tybee Island's North Beach is an uncrowded hideaway, with private spots. On the small island, get away to walk the beach, and mingle with nature -- fishing, birding, kayaking, hiking nature trails, biking, historical sites, sunbathing, shelling, sailing, or jet skiing.

Minimum Stay Requirements:The Innkeeper's pet is a small dog, who stays, primarily, in the privacy of the innkeeper's quarters.
Cancellation:A two night minimum is required for all bookings and a three night minimum is required for holiday and special events. A one night room charge plus local taxes will be charged to your credit card at the time of booking a reservation. A confirmation letter will be sent to your email address. Check-in is between 3:00PM and 6:00PM. Early and late arrivals can be accommodated with prior notification. Departures are 11:00AM. Cancellation Policy Your deposit will be refunded less a $25.00 administrative fee if you cancel 14 days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival you will be charged for the full booking unless we are able to re-book the room.

“Another Day In Paradise”

My husband and I just returned from the most relaxing and peaceful three days at The Lighthouse Inn on Tybee Island. We found our hosts, Susie and Stuart, to be very gracious and kind. We appreciated their concern for our privacy and safety of our belongings. By the time we had to leave we felt like a member of their own family. We will highly recommend The Lighthouse Inn to our own family, many friends and future friends. Thank you, John and Marcia
