I recently spent time at Lauren's Haven and was taken away by the peacefulness. The home away from home feeling of this inviting home and Oldham Family. This is a small town inn with all that one looking to visit a small town could hope for, close to town, resturants and law inforcement without the noise, traffic or congestion of a larger town. Meanwhile a country feel of openess. My family and I will definetly be visiting again. I would recommend this as a great vacation spot for play or rest.

Circa 1893. This late 1800s Colonial Revival home celebrates early America with its traditional décor. Also known as The Rose-Hurwitz House, the home received its second story in 1930 and became a bed & breakfast in 1996. The home derives its name from the two families who built and remodeled it -- the Roses and the Hurwitzes. Arrangements are delicately crafted for honeymoons and anniversaries, including a private couple's breakfast in the upstairs sun room. Each guest room is tastefully decorated in its own distinct color scheme and style, complete with a private sitting room and bath. A continental breakfast of muffins, biscuits, poached eggs and seasonal fruit helps start each morning off on the right foot. Just as enjoyable as the house itself are the grounds it rests upon, featuring a small walking garden and fishpond.
