Lanes Cove House

It was a pleasure to stay at the Lane's Cove B&B, which bristled with pride of ownership. It was the nicest of the B&Bs we patronized on our trip. I especially liked the proprietor's special scones, which were moist and delicious. Would definitely return!

We wanted quiet, out of the way of the busy touristy summer cape crowds, but beautiful beaches, friendly service and serene surroundings. The Lanes Cove House was perfect. Anna, our host, was kind, funny, helpful and above all an immaculate housekeeper, not to mention she makes the best scones ever. Though you need a car for most activities, there was plenty to do, great restaurants, beaches, hikes and parks to explore then a wonderful place to come "home" to.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Anna, the innkeeper is very nice. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. The deck is a good place to relax. Good value.

Anna is the most kindhearted and helpful innkeeper we have had the pleasure to stay with. Excellent breakfast every morning, excellent amenities, clean, comfortable, and cozy room, and such a beautiful inn and location. It really is a perfect spot. Extremely close to beaches, good food, and Boston. But far enough away to be free from the fast-paced larger cities. We will definitely return!

Anna Andella, the innkeeper, is warm and friendly and provides a wonderful place for one to stay away from the comfort of your own home. Delicious breakfast and comfy rooms with TV and DVD players and lots of good DVDs to choose from.

Lane's Cove House was a delight. We spent the first evening on the back deck watching a perfect sunset over the bay and that set the standard for the rest of our three night stay. It's immaculately clean, our room and bath were comfortable and breakfast was great - scones as light as air and Anna's secret granola mix were very tasty. And Anna could not do enough for us - just a really nice, sweet person.

Our mid-week get-away could not have been more relaxing. The inn is charming and beautifully kept, while Anna, the innkeeper, makes each guest feel welcomed and comfortable. A spacious patio overlooks the cove’s stunning sunsets; flower gardens beckon butterflies and hummingbirds. My husband and I, real B&B fans, were totally delighted with our visit.

Lanes Cove House is a beautiful, warm and inviting Bed and Breakfast. You will enjoy a good night's sleep in comfortable beds and a pleasant environment. Your innkeeper, Anna, will open up her home and your heart to you. You will feel like family, with good food, pleasant conversation and the best view in Cape Anne. Trust me, you will love it!

If you wished you had grown up here, or you're just visiting, this is the place to say. Wonderful food (no overload), tasteful house, everything you want at your fingertips (computer, a nice lounge for tea and conversation--or quiet) a charming garden, a neighborhood, and a view of the ocean. It is a lovely, cozy house and Anna is a wonderful hostess. She thinks of everything from homemade scones to free internet access. We will definitely visit again.
