Innkeeper Note

Since 1985 our accolades include "halfway between Saratoga Springs and Lake George, the countryside begins to turn into Adirondack wilderness. The air is crisper, the woods thicken, lakes pop up at every bend, and there on the hill is the Lamplight Inn...a study of charm and perfection." — Best Places to Stay In the Mid Atlantic. "Exquisite decor, attention to detail, sensational breakfasts, warm hospitality." — 1992 Inn of the Year..Bed & Breakfasts, Inns and Guest Houses in the US and Canada. My husband and I stayed at the Inn several years ago and have never stopped thinking about it. We've recommended it to many friends. Now we are fortunate enough to be able to look forward to again staying there ourselves. The rooms are all gorgeous and interesting. The surroundings are beautiful. It's a great place for walking.

Perfect Adrirondack retreat. Our room was decorated with a bear theme, gas fire place and a hammock under the pines. Breakfast was hot and fresh blueberry pancakes with all the trimmings. Directly across from Lake Luzerne for swimming. Only 10 minutes from Lake George for family entertainment. This was a spectacular weekend getaway. Can't wait to go back for the fall season!

Stayed for two nights while in the Lake George vicinity. Beautiful room, bountiful breakfasts with choices of entrees and comfortable common rooms with games, puzzles and coffemaker. Within walking distance of Lake Luzerne. Innkeepers were pleasant people who were helpful with information about the area.
