Stay at this 1830s townhouse with Creole-style façade, gracing Esplanade Avenue, a famous street with ancient oaks that shade horse-drawn carriages and some the state’s oldest architecture. Furnished with Victorian antiques, decorative fireplaces accent many of the air-conditioned guest bedrooms and suites and some face the lush inner courtyard overlooking the fish pond. A few rooms can be adjoined for those traveling together. More accommodations are offered at the Marigny Guest House, a Creole cottage across the street.
