         <title>Earthshine Mountain Lodge</title>
         <link>http://www.iloveinns.com/bed_and_breakfasts/north_carolina/earthshinemountainlodge.htm</link>
<description>Mountains, woods and an endless sky form a panoramic view at this restful lodge, hand-built from cedar logs. The interior is cozy and inviting with patchwork quilts and the warm glow of stained-glass lamps. Most of the lodge's guest bedrooms include a loft with extra sleeping areas, perfect for families. Sunrise Cottage now has three separate suites, each with a bunk bed for children and a gas-operated woodstove. Eighty three acres provide plenty of room for &quot;zipping&quot; through the trees and hiking. Try mountain dancing, a challenging ropes course and climbing wall, or play on the slip'n slide. Children's programs are offered that teach about pioneer and Cherokee life, gem mining and jewel hunts. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner are all included. Picture an evening meal that starts with an appetizer of artichoke dip followed by eggplant caponata, pecan-crusted trout, avocado-baked chicken, steamed basmati rice with vegetables, and brandied bread pudding with chocolate sauce.</description>
