         <title>The Chalet Club</title>
         <link>http://www.iloveinns.com/bed_and_breakfasts/north_carolina/chaletclub.htm</link>
<description>Just 25 miles from Asheville, this compound of chalets and cottages sits on 300 secluded acres on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's a mile and a half from Lake Lure. The main chalet has five guest bedrooms and a main living room. Seven guest cottages are nearby, all have fireplaces stocked with seasoned wood and balconies with views of Hickory Nut Gorge and Chimney Rock. The log cabin Honeymoon Cottage is a favorite for lovers, and Stonehenge 1 and Stonehenge 2 share a pool and are a favorite for reunions. The inn has earned four Mobil Stars, and it is operated by second and third generation innkeepers. Meals are served in the main building, but all cottages have refrigerators, microwaves and coffeemakers. The price includes three meals a day served on the terrace or in the dining room next to the fireplace. A typical dinner consists of delectable courses such as pork loin, sweet potatoes, green beans, wild rice and blackberry cobbler with ice cream. Guests also have free use of the club's &quot; On the Mountain,&quot; &quot;Indoor&quot; and &quot;Water Sports&quot; facilities. Guests may use without charge the club's wet suits, four kayaks, two canoes and fishing boat. The site also has tennis courts, pools, seven miles of hiking trails and a recreation house at the lake that has a pool table and low-impact exercise equipment.</description>
