         <title>Hohmeyer's Lake Clear Lodge</title>
         <link>http://www.iloveinns.com/bed_and_breakfasts/new_york/hohmeyerslodgeonlakeclear.htm</link>
<description>Surrounded by 25 acres of Adirondack scenery, this German-style lodge with 175 feet of private beachfront is awash in Old World ambiance. The Lodge, run by the same family for more than a century, originally accommodated those traveling along the New York to Montreal rail line. Old tracks still run through the property. The German cuisine served at the inn's restaurant is highly recommended, and knotty pine woodwork and exposed beams add to the dining room's European atmosphere. Guest rooms feature a combination of Adirondack/European style decor with pine floors, Adirondack antiques and custom woodwork. Accommodations are available in the woodland chalet or the Sunwater Guesthaus, as well. The Guesthaus offers two units with lake views, a wood-burning fireplace, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bath with a whirlpool tub. The Lodge, with its location in the St. Regis Wilderness area, provides a multitude of recreational possibilities right at your doorstep. Not far from the Lake Placid Olympic sites, it is also a perfect spot for those enjoying a ski vacation. Lakeside weddings, seminars and reunions are popular here.</description>
