Lovely

We stayed here in October to view the fall colors. It's a beautiful house and property right on the lake. The staff is super nice! I recommend it highly. The breakfast is cereal, yogurt and fruit. Be sure to locate the thermostat on the wall of your room! Our room was cold because we didn't discover it until the next morning. Once we turned it up, the room warmed up nicely. My only complaint is that it smelled of Glade all throughout the house. I'm sensitive to chemical fragrances and would prefer a natural fragrance, but fortunately my allergies were not aggravated. You can't beat the price and location! Be sure to get there in time for the sunset!

Fabulous, Hidden Gem!

I stayed here in the Fall of 2012 and I couldn't have been more pleased! First of all, you will be hard pressed to find a room to stay in Mansitee on the Lake at this price! The property is so diverse! I really enjoyed the arboretum, I never thought I'd see a Redwood tree in Michigan! The beach and Bluff are to peaceful! The trails are well maintained and the rooms are very clean! I'll stay here every time I visit Manistee!
