Circa 1871. French for "the beauty of the river," this historic inn was built as a Newport-style mansion near downtown Newaygo on the Muskegon River. Near hundreds of lakes and miles of rivers, this scenic area of western Michigan is popular for fishing, boating and hunting. Half of the county is in the Manistee National Forest. Relax with refreshments on the wraparound porch or the lighted pavilion and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Browse the area gift shops for local crafts, jewelry, antiques and more.
