Circa 1884. Situated between Chesapeake Bay and the Rappahannock River in Kilmarnock, Virginia, the historic main house of the Kilmarnock Inn was owned by only one family before being purchased and turned into an inn. The seven cottages were designed and named to reflect the rich presidential heritage of Virginia. The Wilson features an inviting foyer with the first floor serving as the welcoming area. A dining room, parlor, sitting room, study/computer room, and fully equipped kitchen with bar adjacent to the front desk are open for use anytime. The Washington, Jefferson, Monroe, Harrison, Taylor, and Tyler Cottages as well as Madison, the honeymoon cottage, each has its own bathroom and offers a variety of numerous amenities from fireplaces and Jacuzzis to decks overlooking the landscaped courtyard.
