Beautiful Inn

The Inn is beautifully decorated and maintained. Our guest room was very comfortable, including amenities not always found in B&B’s. The breakfasts were excellent! The innkeepers were always ready to answer questions or help in any way. Location is perfect as it is a short walk to the main street with lovely views from rooms at the front of the Inn.

Lovely Stay at the Inn

From the moment we called to make our reservation until our departure, the proprietors of Magnolia Inn were as welcoming and hospitable as could be. We enjoyed our room, the view of the historic church and the kitchen with all its offerings. A great place to stay in Jacksonville, OR.

Sweet stopover

We had no idea how charming this inn would be, otherwise our stay would have been longer. We chose Jacksonville as a last stop before we headed back home. We will be returning to Magnolia Inn. Everything was pristine and so quaint and charming. Thank you to Robert & Susan for their grand hospitality!

Warm & Friendly

We loved the Magnolia Inn for many reasons. Robert & Susan Roos are wonderful hosts. The Inn is beautiful and takes you back in time as each room is decorated very differently, but in an era long lost. The Inn was very quiet and warm. We were there at Christmas time and relaxed there more than anywhere else we have been. As you walk in the front door, there is a jug of apple cider or hot chocolate and cookies. We will always stay at the Magnolia Inn when traveling in that area of Oregon. You can't go wrong with this Inn. It is great! We highly recommend the Magnolia Inn.

What a Charming Inn!

We came over New Years and found this to be an exceptional "find". The Innkeepers were helpful and friendly and provided New Year's Eve goodies as a surprise in our room. We had access to the kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and plates, which we used when we had great leftovers for lunch from a terrific Jacksonville restaurant (all walking distance). This was a great base for visiting friends in Ashland AND Medford - we are looking forward to coming again and reading books on the verandah!

Geat stay

Second time at the Magnolia Inn and was not disappointed. Owners were very gracious and helpful - breakfast had great coffee and an assortment of items - the homemade scones were to kill for. My wife and I have made reservations to return this fall - cannot wait.

A very satisfying stay!

The Magnolia Inn offers appealing hospitality which includes delicious food, freedom to come and go, as well as luxuious rooms. The hosts, Robert and Susan, made us feel at home immediately. Our stay spanned New Year's Eve and we found party hats, champagne, and chocolates waiting in our room. "Town" is a very short two blocks away. Once we parked, we never needed the car again. We stayed in the Courtney room which has a butterfly theme. The paint and decor were immaculate. We will definitely be back!

A quaint and enjoyable place to sta

The Magnolia Inn is charming, picturesque, and has an old-fashioned flair. It is clean and quiet and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have our own bath in the room and we were just steps away from the dining area. The room was comfortable and had a fun musical instrument theme. The Inn is centrally located near the downtown area. The only cons were limited parking and a small (full size?) bed.

My brother Rodney got married in town so my 77 year old parents, brothers, spouses, and children decended upon the nicest place to stay I have ever experienced. Homey, relaxing, great food, good location, and the porches are the best place to read a book and relax. The innkeepers, Robert and Susan Roos are the best people!! I want to go back again soon!!

Fantastic!

Our 4 day stay exceeded our expectations. The bed was very comfortable and the room bright and cheerful. Jacksonville was very quiet at night and fun to explore during the day. We attended the Shakespeare Festival and it was very relaxing, and quiet, to return to our room. The home made breakfasts were amazing. We will visit again! Thank you!

Delight in the Heart of Jacksonvill

We (two couples) just spent two delightful nights at the Inn -- within walking distance of all the Jacksonville shops, the Britt Festival and a short drive to Ashland.... so convenient in such very comfortable and pretty surroundings -- the gardens, upstairs terrace and lovely open space simply added to our comfort.

charming, classy, elegant

My wife and I spent 4 days at the Magnolia Inn, when the Spring garden and wildflowers were at their peak. Like the town, the Inn is charming, elegant and classy, what civilized life strives after. Robert is a perfect host. I liked the healthy food also. Go there!

Just Wonderful

My wife and I recently stayed at the Magnolia Inn and had a fabulous experience. The Inn was beautiful, as were the rooms. The bed was more comfortable than my expensive one at home. The hosts thought of everything, and did several little things that really made us feel special. Jacksonville is a "must visit" jewel of a town - quaint but sophisticated, and the Magnolia was the crowning touch

Perfect place in Jacksonville!

We stayed here in March 2011 and absolutely loved it. Beautiful decor, great location and nice bedrooms and private baths. Not too frilly and flowery as some B&Bs can be. The breakfast is outstanding - including some of the owner's homemade treats (coffeecake, muffins, yogurt parfaits). We will definitely be back here and I can't imagine staying anywhere else in town!

Fabulous!

I stayed two nights and it was like staying with great friends. They knew what I needed, but didn't hover. The owners were so nice and the room had everything I needed. If you are a really light sleeper you might want the ear plugs that are provided, but I personnally loved hearing the rain on the roof. The inn is right in town so you can walk to everything.

A very warm welcome awaited us when we checked in. A beautiful Golden Lab greeted us before we met Susan. The room was warm and inviting and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on. Thank you Bob and Susan.

So Charming!

We love the Magnolia Inn and have stayed there numerous times. Innkeepers Robert & Susan are welcoming, knowledgeable about the area and activities & could not be more accomodating. The Inn & the rooms are beautifully decorated with lovely gardens. Outside seating areas throughout the gardens make for perfect spots to quietly read or just enjoy the beauty of the area. The quaint town of Jacksonville with its' shops, restaurants & wineries is within easy walking distance of the Inn. A perfect getaway spot.

Look no further!

If you’re looking for a fabulous bed and breakfast while in the Jacksonville / Ashland / Medford, Oregon area, look no further! The Magnolia Inn in Jacksonville is the place for you! You’ll be minutes away from anything you might want to do in any of these venues. Rob and Susan, the innkeepers were knowledgeable about the entire area, pleased us with every recommendation they made, and offered concise directions to each event / location. The historic inn was beautifully decorated. Our room was charming and impeccably clean. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast on the sunlit patio and relaxed in the lovely gardens in the early morning and evening. We felt “at home” the entire time we were away. We can’t wait to return!

Can't beat freshly baked cookies

This was our second stay at Magnolia Inn. The first was just an overnight stop. We liked it so much that we decided to stay there again for two nights. The décor is very tastefully done, providing the inn with an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. It is also quiet and peaceful. The pastries at breakfast were far too scrumptious and the addition of freshly baked cookies in the afternoon was a nice touch. Hope we can go again in the near future. It is a wonderful place!

Another great stay

We have just returned another great stay at The Magnolia Inn. We are four friends who have visited Jacksonville and Ashland for several years now and love to return to this comfortable and friendly inn. Robert and Susan really do treat guests like family and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, beautiful accomodations, and great snacks and breakfast. The inn is convenient to restaurants and the main street in Jacksonville. We highly recommend you give this place a try.

Lovely and Romantic!

We have stayed at the Magnolia Inn now four times. The stucco exterior, lovely flower gardens and veranda upstairs reminds us of a place we might stay in Italy. The interior is decorated beautifully, with a touch of Victorian, and very immaculate; and the beds are so comfortable! The common kitchen/dining area upstairs provides a wonderful continental breakfast, as well as popcorn and sodas for evening snacks. The eating area leads out to the upstairs porch, where we eat our breakfast and look out at the historic, quaint town at the same time! There's magnolia trees, birds, and every good thing, to make a guest want to return. It's a place to stay a few nights, or for a week! The Rooms are so friendly and you feel like you've come "home" to a very special place. Sincerely, Dr. and Mrs. Tom (Kathleen)Ruckman, Eugene, Oregon

One Night Was Not Enough!

Wonderful! So much so that we immediately booked for the Christmas holidays, as well. Susan and Robert are incredibly gracious and helpful hosts and the accommodations are gorgeous and immaculately clean and comfortable. The guest kitchen (with delicious morning spread and snacks, tea, coffee and other treats -- fresh baked cookies the afternoon we checked in) and sitting room are a definite plus. Cannot think of anywhere I would rather stay when visiting the Jacksonville area.

Fantastic

I just returned from the Magnolia Inn and had a superb time. Our family rented out the whole hotel and we were not disappointed. Each room was different and very special. The accommodations were great as were both Robert and Susan. They were very helpful and you could tell they really enjoyed their job. I can definitely recommend anyone staying here. Thanksgiving Escape

This was our 3rd stay at the Magnolia Inn and we weren't disappointed! It is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. We booked the weekends before and after Thanksgiving. This time we had our dog who was treated like royalty! He was given biscuits, toys and bedding. It was great seeing Susan and Robert again. They feel like old friends. We also got to enjoy the holiday decorations for Xmas on our return. -

Family Reunion

We were allowed to take every room for a family reunion and it was worth every penny. We had so much fun, and the baked goods were exceptional, and the owners had a gracious way of checking in and out to take care of whatever was needed without hovering. They are lovely people, and the whole experience was just perfect. The authentic and charming decor made it feel like it was historic, but the cleanliness and the newly tiled bathrooms meant we didn't have to sacrifice condition for charm.

Pure pleasure

We had a wonderful family reunion, and the owners were most gracious, providing a very taste continental breakfast, providing spaces in which various groups could meet and visit in. Everything was clean, inviting, and beautifully decorated and furnished. Our every desire was catered to. I shall highly recommend it to everyone who plans to travel south.

Too tired to camp

We were on a 2 week camping adventure from LA to San Rafael (CA), Ashland (OR), Sisters (OR), and the next stop was Jacksonville (OR). We were too exhausted to set up camp, so we wanted to stay at The Magnolia because it was close to town and we wanted to walk around that night but of course it was fully booked on a Saturday night. We stayed elsewhere and hoped they would have availability on Sunday and they did! We actually sat outside their place after finding they were booked to call other places and the people staying there were having a ball in the outdoor areas and everything was so well done that we couldn't wait to go back. When we arrived Sunday we were greeted by the owners that could not have been nicer and more welcoming!! We finally got to see the inside and it was beautiful....they didn't miss one single detail. I must also mention that we arrived before check in time and they quickly turned around a room for us so that we didn't have to return in an hour which was very nice. Everything from decor to food and snacks to comfort and beyond was very impressive. The owners were so knowledgeable about the town and wonderful to talk with. This place is a must see / stay if you are visiting Jacksonville!!!

All the comfort of my dream home

Most likely the best B&B experience I have ever had. My sister and I stayed in the twin room with the veranda out our window. We loved the location of this lovely inn and the inn keepers thought of every last detail, including the ear plugs for my dear sister who put up with my sleep apnea! Breakfast was nice and the rooms were all nicely appointed, thanks to Susan and Robert. We are sure to come back next time we visit their adorable town again.

Home away from home

From the moment I first saw Magnolia Inn I wanted to stay there and when the local info centre listed it for me , I said yes. The gardens are perfect, the entry and rooms on the ground floor said perfection. My room had far more in it than expected and the attention to detail is to see to believe. The bed was a dream and the house and surrounds very quiet. Breakfast was simple but wholesome and as usual, a pleasant surprise made by Susan. Brekky out on the balcony is bliss. Robert and Susan were our friends by the time we reluctantly checked out in our own time. They even assisted with purchases I had to make around town. Well above and beyond the call of duty. I will be back and highly recommend to all.

Excellent Experience

This charming Inn is at the best location in town on the main street into the heart of the business district but two short blocks from it which provides a buffer especially on Sat. Night. Each room is different but tastefully decorated. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the local events. Extra effort is evident at breakfast time with very fresh local fruits, pastry and Peets Coffee. Clean, comfortable, fresh popcorn and free phone calls ---- what else could one wish for?

No.1 place to stay in Jacksonville

My husband and I were so happy with our decision to stay at the Magnolia Inn. The owners, Robert and Susan went out of their way to provide us with helpful information about the town and upcoming events. The Inn itself is very beautiful and tastefully furnished...We felt very welcome. The room was very comfortable, ( many whimsical touches )..the bathroom spacious . We had the use of the refrigerator. Hot tea and coffee were available. Breakfast was simple.....help yourself..homemade coffee cake, fresh fruit, yogurt. There was a wonderful veranda on which to sit overlooking the front lawn. We highly recommend the Magnolia Inn . It is the number one place to stay in Jacksonville.

Family gathering

This was our family of eighteen's third stay at the Magnolia Inn. The beautiful rooms, comfortable gathering areas, lovely grounds, and perfect location in charming Jacksonville keep us coming back. Robert and Susan go out of their way to accommodate our needs (thank you!). The coffee, fruit and pastries for breakfast, and the lemonade, cookies and popcorn for snacks make great additions to our stay.

Exceeds expectations

This was my second trip to Magnolia Inn, but it won't be my last. Beautiful surroundings, impeccable accommodations, innkeepers who are hospitable yet unobtrusive. Even a resident dog to pet, and one dog-friendly room. Nice breakfast options without forcing strangers to interact around the table. The perfect B&B experience.

Loved it!

My husband and I stayed at the Magnolia Inn for three nights while visiting family. We stayed in the Courtney room, in the back of the house. It was quiet and comfortable, and the bed was wonderful. We slept extremely well each night. The room even had a hand-held clothes steamer! The continental breakfast included home-baked pastries, fruit, juices, coffee/tea, and hardboiled eggs for those who want a little protein in the morning. Our host, Robert, was incredibly helpful in recommending things to do in the area. We took him up on every one of his recommendations, and were not disappointed. There is a shared kitchen, where breakfast is served. Guests can keep their food in the refrigerator during their stay. We kept our cheese from the Rogue River Creamery, and our wine from local wineries in there—very convenient. Overall, I would recommend the Magnolia Inn to anyone who wants a relaxing and enjoyable stay in one of the most beautiful areas of the country. We will certainly be returning!

I take care of my aging father and when I need my "alone" time I go spend a few dsys at the Magnolia Inn. The rooms are quaint and comfortable, the innskeepers are delightful and make you feel right at ease immediately. They are warm and friendly, the breakfast is delicious and there's quite a variety. I will continue returning to Magnoliua Inn. My friend and I book every December for our retreat...and my grandaughter says it is her favorite place to stay!!

Romance in Jacksonville

We happened upon this lovely bed and breakfast during our first extended trip together. We fell in love with it, and returned the next summer, (now engaged), and the summer after that (for our honeymoon) and are looking forward to returning this summer. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we are in the area. Great location, for Britt, Ashland Shakespeare Festival, or just relaxing walks around the town. Wonderful local restaurants and shops, and convenient to Ashland, the Rogue, and the wine country. Wonderfully preserved large house, with great views off the balcony and front lawn, cozy, inviting rooms, and nice little touches throughout, such as game boards set up, a popcorn maker in the lobby, and a lending library. And the best scones ever!!!! What really sets this B&B apart, however, is the attention to detail and personal interest shown by Robert and Susan. It is obvious they truly love taking care of their guests. They are wonderful hosts, and have become our friends as well!

The Best Experience I've Ever Had!

The Magnolia Inn is simply the best experience on my recent vacation to southern Oregon. The warm atmosphere and detail is out of this world. I felt I was visiting a plantation mansion in the old south with great amenities. Every room is spacious and the sheets - 600+. Comfort, comfort, comfort! We had to add another night to our stay just to experience it again.

Wonderful Get-a-way!

Had a wonderful time during our "girls get-a-way". Robert and Sue go out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and having a good time. The specials touches meant a lot! Loved our room decor and the fact that we had our own key and could come and go when the Inn was closed up for the night was great. Jacksonville is a cute town and the Magnolia Inn made it even more memorable!

Magnolia Inn - Wonderful

We recently stayed at the Magnolia Inn in Jacksonville, OR. It is a wonderful bed and breakfast where the owner/innkeepers have paid attention to the smallest detail. We particularly enjoyed the time we spent on the deck - starting our days there with breakfast and ending the day with a glass of wine - admiring the beautiful flowers and landscaping of the property. Our family (several couples) are planning a return trip to this area next year and we have already decided that we will try to stay at the Magnolia again.

Found a Gem!

What a wonderful week we just spent at the Magnolia Inn in Jacksonville. Our motorbike group took the whole house and did day trips out from there. Spent a night at the Britt with Kenny Logins, My Fair Lady at the Shakespearian Festival in Ashland, did a wine tour with "Wine Hoppers", a visit to Crater Lake, the Oregon Caves, just to name a few! The Magnolia Inn was wonderful and charming. Susan Roos is a awesome baker of goodies and is as sweet as her creations. Can't wait to go back!! Jack Trowbridge

Absolutely Charming!

My sister and I stayed only one night in the Eva room, but we wanted to stay forever. From Robert greeting us at the front desk to visiting with other guests in the upstairs kitchen, and visiting on the viranda among the beautiful garden in bloom, well, our experience was just delightful. Breakfast was exquisite with Susan's blueberry/coconut/pecan scones, fresh fruit including two kinds of berries, pastries and fresh coffee (Peets, our favorite). In the evening we played checkers before going to bed and after sipping herbal tea. The next morning I walked to Main Street only 2 blocks up and thru out the neighborhood capturing pictures of the local Victorian homes and architecture. A town so rich in history. We felt right at home and were saddened to leave. We will return...can't wait.

InnSide Tip - Bring your own bottle of wine
We discovered too late a small market a few blocks away where other guests had purchased a bottle of wine and cheese and rotisserie chicken; they enjoyed it in the dusk of the evening out on the viranda, and we wished we could have done so as well. Next time.

Magnolia Inn Visit

It was our pleasure to stay two nights at this charming and comfortable inn. We were greeted by Robert at the desk who was so helpful and sincerely interested in our having a wonderful experience. Our room was on the ground floor and the air conditioning was perfect although we had friends who were on the second floor and found their room a bit warm. The breakfasts were light and fresh consisting of fruit and scones or pastries. We really enjoyed the veranda for a glass of wine or breakfast. All in all I would highly recommend this B&B in the the wonderful and historic city of Jacksonville.

Lovely Wedding Weekend at Magnolia

We booked the entire magnolia Inn for out of town guests attending our daughter's wedding. The Inn exceeded our expectations in every regard: it was charming, comfortable, and quiet. The atmosphere was welcoming without being intrusive. The hosts were among the best we've ever encountered. Many of our guests traveled quite a distance (some came from England) and they all commented about how much they enjoyed staying at the Magnolia Inn. As parents of the bride, it was wonderful to know our guests were happy and well cared for. The location was perfect, everything was within easy walking distance. Everyone enjoyed the historic town of Jacksonville. For us, it was a perfect experience.

our romantic stay at Magnolia Inn

We chose this delightful inn from the AAA tour book. We had been in Ashland for the Shakespeare festival and decided to extend our stay and picked Jacksonville as a good spot from which to explore the region. There is plenty to do in this area and lots of good wineries. The hosts, Robert and Susan were so welcoming and made our visit extra special. They are gracious and well informed about events in the southern Oregon area. We would definitely return to this inn and will recommend it to our friends and family.

Wonderful Stay at the Magnolia Inn

I can't say enough good things about the Magnolia Inn. My husband and I have stayed there a couple times now. There are the obvious things, like the cleanliness, wonderfully manicured grounds, quiet and well-apointed rooms and the delicious buffet-style breakfast. Plus, it is just a few short blocks to downtown and the Britt Festival. However, on our most recent stay, I learned why Magnolia Inn is a must for anyone traveling to Jacksonville. My husband and I rode our motorcycle up from Redding, CA to see a concert at the Britt. Robert and Susan (plus Abby the dog) were gracious hosts as ever. Unfortunately, when we went to leave on Sunday, the motorcycle would not start. We had no other transportation and not much is open in Jacksonville on a Sunday. Robert loaned us tools and equipment that we needed and even drove us into Medford twice to get additional supplies. The diagnosis of a dead battery was finally made, and we were able to replace it. However, Robert spent most of his day with us, helping out of the kindness of his own heart. Susan came out to offer water and never once did they make us feel that we were inconveniencing them in any way. Robert and Susan went above and beyond the normal customer service one would expect and their kindness will not be forgotten. So, if you are looking for a quaint, reasonably priced B&B, book a room at the Magnolia Inn. Thanks, China and Ed Milligan

A night at the Magnolia Inn

Our visit to the Magnolia Inn in Jacksonville, was a wonderful experience. It was the first time at a B&B for my husband and I wasn’t sure if he would make it through the entire experience without a television. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. Our nights stay was lovely. Our hosts, Robert & Susan, gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. After getting settled in a lovely room, we took a short walk to town for dinner before heading to the Britt Festival. Our room was quaint and the bed was so comfy. It was a cool and quiet evening allowing us to keep the window open all night long. The next morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the upper porch taking in the crisp morning air and a view of town. Thank you Robert & Susan for making our stay so enjoyable. We will be back again.

The Ideal Inn

We had been looking forward to this long weekend filled with Events at both the Shakespeare Festival and the Britt which we enjoyed tremendously. But, what made it all the more special was our stay at the Magnolia Inn! Right from the start, Robert's warm greeting, the ambiance, and someone helping me with my bags...it was truly southern comfort! I loved the refreshing cucumber and lemon water always available as you enter. Our room was ideal. It was upstairs, extra large with a huge bath...heaven! The bed was oh so comfortable as was the temperature (nice and cool) thank goodness breakfast was fresh and available for late sleepers! I'm sure we'll be back!

Wonderful!

This was our first visit to Jacksonville and we couldn’t have stayed at a more pleasing place than Magnolia Inn. Our room was charming, full of considerate amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. Our hosts were a wealth of information as to what to do and where to go in Jacksonville for the best experiences within our two-day stay. We loved sitting on the charming veranda in the morning for our delicious breakfasts and later in the afternoon for a lively game of cards and enjoyable viewing of the neighborhood. Magnolia's own gardens and landscaping are gorgeous and inviting, a feast for the senses.

So romantic on Valentine's Day

OH SO SWEET! From the warm welcome, to the thoughtful bottles of champagne and chocolates in our cozy room at the Jacksonville magnolia Inn. Susan and Robert have perfected the fine art of being there for their guests while being invisible at the same time. The rooms are so clean and the decor is so right for the mood of relaxing. We loved walking in the town, and the inn was so close to everything we just walked while leaving the car at the inn. The breakfast pastries and fruits wer so fresh and high quality, and the coffee was perfect and EARLY! We loved our stay there and will be going back as soon as time allows. I think it will be a great Christmas getaway Inn too!

InnSide Tip - Wineries are fun!
Take a trip to the local wineries in the area! Red Lily was our favorite, and you can have a great lunch there after 11am!! It is by a river, and is very scenic and not too far from the Magnolia Inn in Jacksonville. The Inn will supply you with winery maps and directions!

The Magnolia Inn=Somewhere in Time

When Lisa Julio and myself, Michael Lombardi, stayed here, it was as if we had traveled into our favorite movie, Somewhere in Time! Life became very simple, happiness became our constant companion and Robert and Susan were the perfect hosts. Just sitting in the lawn chairs on the expansive front lawn was enough to take all away all anxieties, cares, and concerns and instantly replace those negatives with a peace that passeth all understanding. To just be, to exist in pure peace and love, was enough when staying at the Magnolia Inn and that experience is absolutely guaranteed to anyone who stays there. Nothing needed to be accomplished, there was suddenly no rush to do anything except simply breath and soak up the love, friendship and acceptance that being a guest at the Magnolia Inn gives to anyone who stays there. It was a true gift, a grace, to both of us. The Magnolia was a true blessing to us and we will never forget what we found there.

Great dog-friendly B&B!

My wife and I had a wonderful two-night stay at the Jacksonville Inn, along with our dog. The inn has a great location in the heart of a quaint town. Take the trolley tour. Visit the Applegate Wine Trail. Great restaurants nearby. The owners, Robert and Susan, were friendly and helpful. We arrived on a Sunday morning and there was a farmers market across the street. A nice breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries. They have a refrigerator that guests can use. Lots of nice places to sit outside. But I have to give them a special shout-out for maintaining a dog-friendly room on the first floor. It is hard for us to find a B&B like this that will accept pets.

Wonderful Place to Stay

We celebrated my husbands 50th birthday in Jacksonville and decided to have all guest stay at this lovely hotel. Inn keepers were friendly, rooms lovely and the entire experience for us and our guests was an A++. Highly recommend staying here when you are visiting the Jacksonville area.

Our favorite Inn

We have been coming to this beautiful B & B for 10 years as a mid point on our way to the Umpqua River. This year we decided to stay two days so we could enjoy our wonderful room and the charming town. Every year it seems that Susan adds more eclectic designs to the inn. There's always something new and intriguing to enjoy. We stay in the Madison room which is in the corner and overlooks two churches, so noise is not an issue. We open all the windows and enjoy the cross breeze. The communal kitchen is very convenient to grab a bite to eat before getting on the road or shopping the charming boutiques nearby. There is always fresh fruit as well as some home baked goodies. There's also healthful oatmeal, yogurt and hard boiled eggs for the health conscious. We can't resist the fresh baked delights! Robert and Susan are wonderful hosts who take great pride in their beautiful inn. You can tell they love this place and it shows. We have told all our friends about this place and if you're near Medford, this is the place to stay.

Perfect location in Jacksonville

The Magnolia Inn is a quiet refuge in the center of town. Comfortable rooms, charming owners, coffee and pastries in the morning on the veranda. Call them in person to book!

Our first stay, definitely not our last!

Our kids sent us to Jacksonville for our 30th anniversary and we were not sure what to expect. When we arrived, Rob was very kind and gave us many tips on what to see and when to see it around town. We completely enjoyed our time there and will be looking to go back. Even though it was January, not the high point of tourist season, our room was perfect. The entire place is very clean and well cared for, and the breakfast was great with homemade and local pastries as well as fresh fruit and many kinds of drinks. We can't recommend this enough. We hope to come back during the summer to see all the trees and flowers blooming. The Inn is located very close to all the shops and is an easy walk to most of the places to see in Jacksonville. Rob and Susan are great hosts and will make you feel at home. The other guests we met were very friendly and I think every one of them were repeat guests with positive comments about the place as well.
