Iron Corbel Inn Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I stayed here the night we were married, it was a wedding gift from my Aunt & Uncle who live locally in Hollidaysburg (we are from Colorado). We stayed in the Empire Suite, it was beautiful but the whole house was amazing. It was the first time my husband and I had stayed at a Bed & Breakfast and it was a great experience! It was quiet, comfortable and had a GREAT breakfast. The owner was very nice, we would stay there again if ever in the neighborhood!

A step back in time! So beautiful and restful!

I stayed at this inn with a few friends and we had a wonderful weekend. The owner and her family were nice, helpful, and very accommodating our all of our requests. Heather (the owner) made us a special dinner at our request and it was out of this world delicious. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to enjoy each other’s company during our stay. We play games, reminisced and stayed up very late watching chic flicks. This was one of our best weekends ever and we plan to do it again next year.

we went to the iron corbel inn for a girls getaway we expected a luxury experience but that is not what we encountered. the rooms we had were nice enough but in serious need of dusting and the bathroom needed a good scrubbing. the toiletries were opened and used by a previous guest who also left some items behind in the room. and at 1 am when we turned in for the night we turned down the blankets and there were no sheets on the bed. we could not call for assitance because there wasn't a phone in the room. the next day we told the owner about the sheets she came up and put them on the bed but did not make any of the other beds. the breakfast was okay but far from the gourmet breakfast promised, i've had better at denny's. dinner wasn't much better because her small children kept running in and out of the dinning room. we had brought in a massage therapist and the children also interupped the massages. we also brought in a manicurist and the owner treated her very unprofessionally. i told the owner i did not like the way she was treating the manicurist. and she told me that she would not be talked to like that in her home. i told her it was a business first. i left cutting my weekend short because i was so offened. the other girls stayed and didn't fare better for breakfast they were suppose to have stuffed crepes but were served two pancakes and two strips of bacon and there wasn't any pastries or tea or fresh fruit promised on her website. i would never go back to the iron corbel inn and would not reccomend it to anyone.
