Circa 1779. Built by Ethan Allen's brother, this Colonial Revival inn is a state historic site. Hand-blown glass panes, hand-hewn beams, handmade bricks and wide-board floors provide evidence of the inn's longevity. Surrounded by farms and forest, the inn's setting is perfect for those searching for some peace and quiet. Plenty of recreational activities also are found nearby, including fine trout fishing, swimming and canoeing in the Battenkill River on the property.

Love this Inn! Fantastic breakfasts, cozy rooms, away from the hustle of Manchester Center. Ed and Maria of Ira Allen Inn make you feel like you are family. We can't stay away!
