Description

Circa 1801. Elegantly gracing the historic district and just a few blocks to shopping and the waterfront, Inner Banks Inn has been welcoming guests since 1982. Four houses on the grounds feature guest bedrooms and suites with wood-burning fireplaces and double whirlpool tubs. The Lords Proprietors, The Pack House, The Tillie Bond Cottage and Satterfield House provide a selection of historic homes c.1801-1902. A Victorian mansion, a tobacco pack barn, a coastal Carolina cottage (pet friendly) and a colonial revival provide guests lots of options and time periods to enjoy on the 2.75 acre property. The Table, a fine dining restaurant in a charming converted carriage house, features modern American cuisine using fresh ocean-river-farm to table offerings. There are lovely porches and a garden patio for dining and relaxation. Sunday brunch, lunches and gourmet dinners are prepared by Chef James Ott and Chef de Cuisine Cory Hoos. Located on the Albemarle Sound and Chowan River, Edenton offers history, relaxation and water recreation in the largest freshwater sound in the United States. Located one hour west of the Outer Banks and south of Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Edenton is centrally located near world class beaches, fishing and big city amenities. Guided walking tours of area museum homes begin at the nearby visitor's center.

Most Hospitable and Charming Inn

Our stay at The Pack House far exceeded our expectations, and we hope to return again soon. Every comfort is provided for and every desire anticipated. The attention to detail is impressive beyond belief. The atmosphere is one of elegant comfort and gracious warmth. The breakfasts that Giuliano prepared for us was excellent. They also provide snacks, bottled water, wine, cheese, tea or coffee in their guest kitchen. To sum it all up in one word: Impeccable. The service and accommodations are beyond anything We've seen in a Bed and Breakfast!! 5-Stars....

Fantastic Experience!!!!

This was the first time we stayed in a B and B, but it will not be the last. Everything about the Pack House Inn was great. Besides an attractive room and amazing breakfasts, we were treated as if we were guests in our families home. My children loved the parlor games. The proprietor's treated us like family, and we felt welcome the minute we arrived. Southern hospitality at its finest!!We highly reccomend to everyone...

Stayed here for my cousins Wedding!

WOW!! What an Inn...My family of 45 were all blone away with this Bed and Breakfast Inn. It consists of several historic renovated buildings. The Owners Michael and Giuliano have done an outstanding job. The Breakfasts each morning were simply delicious and of high culinary design. They have thought of every amenity who could want or desire. No wonder why they are rated 5-stars and have won so many awards including National Innkeepers of the year from Ms. Pamela Lanier. My family and I have planned a return trip to historic Edenton this summer and plan on staying at The Pack House Inn. We highly recommend to everyone!!

Exceeded all my expectations!!!!

I personally have stayed at many B & B's in Edenton, and the Pack House Inn is by far the very best. Room #21 The Governor's Suite was quiet, spacious, clean ad well appointed. The location is within walking distance to downtown, eateries and the visitor center. Giuliano the Innkeeper was professional and very friendly. I would highly recommend this bed & breakfast to any traveler visiting or just passing through. The breakfast consisted of a 3-course delight. I will never stay anywhere else when I come back to Edenton!!
