Can't wait to go back

Every time I visit the Inn & Spa At Cedar Falls, I am planning my return visit. It is so peaceful and perfect. We have always stayed in the cabins but might try a cottage the next time. We love everything about the Inn and especially the log cabin and all where the food is served. It's awesome!

The Place To Stay

Peaceful, quiet, relaxing, beautiful it is all here---the staff was knowledgable and very nice & helpful---the food -both breakfast & dinner was excellent!! This was a great get-away close to home. Longish walk from parking lot to room, but still worth the trip.

My Favorite Place

We discovered The Inn at Cedar Falls while two of our children were students at Ohio University. It continues to be one of our favorite places for a getaway. We are travelers and have yet to find a place that meets our need for quiet, nature, and elegance as much as this Inn. We are celebrating our 35th anniversary in May and only have one overnight to spend. This is at the top of my list for a place we love and the amazingly beautiful setting! I always recommend Inn at Cedar Falls to friends looking for a special place to celebrate, get away, enjoy a romantic escape, etc. Experience it for yourself! This is truly a special place! Serenity in the woods!

A marvelous secluded cottage in the Hocking Hills. Can it get better than this? I don't think so. The cottage was perfect for a slightly bigger feel than a room. Lots of windows to the outside and a wonderful porch swing to view the woods. They thought of every personal touch! The room was spotless and quaint. They left a bottle of wine and 2 glasses to help us celebrate our 25th! The gourmet food right across the street at the Inn was fabulous too!

Great Option for Business Meetings

The new meeting facility at the Inn is terrific - comfortable set-up with all the amenities required for an effective meeting. The participants enjoyed the opportunity to work in small groups on the porch around the meeting space and in the adjacent sitting room. Food was great, especially when trying to please a diverse group of folks. The Inn & Spa understands the meaning of customer service.

Superb Dinner

"This is just a brief note to report on how much my wife and I enjoyed our Saturday (22 August 2009) evening at the Inn. We had profited from some wonderful but non-arduous hikes in the Ash Cave and Cedar Falls park sites and had convinced ourselves that we deserved an excellent dinner. It has long been our desire to take advantage of your restaurant, but we simply had not gotten down to the Hocking Hills recently. For about half an hour we enjoyed walking around your gift shop and adjoining areas and relaxing on your porch. But the real highlight of our day was the truly excellent dinner! The tapenade was superb, the soup interesting and subtle, and the bread warm and yummy. The Key Point is that my chicken breast with artichoke hearts, cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, savory lemon, etc., was absolutely stellar. Needless to note, we thought that the "historic but up-to-date" setting in the dining room was welcoming, comfortable, and extremely well done. We really do think that such first-rate operations deserve extended applause..." Dr. Kennard B. Bork-Granville, OH 8/09

Terrific Wedding

"We wanted to say thanks for the wonderful wedding weekend. Everyone involved enjoyed it very much. You were great with coordinating and handling last minute changes and request gracefully presenting alternative ideas as needed. Our guests were impressed by many things. The staff delivered above and beyond expectations. We heard folks pleasantly surprised that at check-in time the staff knew their names (and their children's names!) We also heard that one couple with an early zip-lining trip scheduled was given breakfast stuff the night before. I got a comment from another guest that in all his travels (including expenses paid dinners) he's never had a filet that tasted so good! We commonly heard "How did you find this place?" To which I had to reply that we looked long and hard from Maine to California and this was just the best fit for us. The natural beauty and the terrific people clinched it. The best comment I think was from another guest that said this was the "best wedding" he'd ever been to. I laughed and asked him to think very carefully about where that put his own wedding so he wouldn't get in trouble with his wife! Thanks for a terrific wedding." from Guest book;Brian and Rachel 7/09

Romantic and private

The Inn at Cedar Falls is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of busy city life. Staying in the secluded cottages offers an especially serene and private experience as the area surrounding each cottage is wooded enough that you barely ever hear or see evidence of your nearest neighbors at the inn. We loved our private deck overlooking a wooded gorge and the little electric stove that made the cottage a particularly cozy retreat where you could curl up with a good book after a busy day of exploring nearby Hocking Hills State Park. I've posted a longer article about our recent stay at the inn at http://www.midwestguest.com/2008/09/d%C3%A9j%C3%A0-vu-at-cedar-falls.html

Gary and Jackie P

We just spent Christmas at the Inn @ Cedar Falls--just the two of us. It was perfect in every way. We'll spend Christmas with family on New Year's weekend but having this time away together at this time of year was very special. We had a Christmas ham that we baked in the oven at the cabin and just every little detail was fun and different from every other Christmas we'd ever had before. We felt very blessed to have this time away together. The accommodations and the service are always exceptional here. We plan to return again soon. As soon as we leave, we start planning when we'll come back again.
