Circa 1830. This authentic 1835 gristmill is located in a park-like setting with cascading waterfalls and gardens with thousands of herbs and perennials. The inn was once a station of the underground railroad. The richly decorated rooms are located in the century-old miller's home where there is a kitchen stocked with breakfast goodies, sitting room and game parlor. During the summer, guests create ice cream delights and enjoy gourmet desserts in the mill emporium. Additional accommodations include the Cliffside Cottage and seasonally available Hog'n'Haus Cottage with views of a private gorge and waterfalls. Outdoor hot tub spas overlook a waterfall. Local attractions range from the Saratoga Race Track to the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame.
