Amazing B&B

I had never been to a B&B before and was hesitant to try one out, but based on the reviews I saw on the Inn I decided to give it a shot. It was SO much more than what I imagined. I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday as a nice little get away from busy Chicago. We're both from upstate NY and this place definitely reminded us of home, located on a bluff in the middle of the woods. Dave & Trudy were extremely warm and inviting and were very easy to communicate with prior to our stay. In fact, they helped me with certain aspects of my proposal! It could not have gone smoother. We went out to lunch and when we got back, the room was clean and there were roses, chocolate covered strawberries, and champagne waiting for us. This place will always be special in our minds. I recommend anyone looking for a quick weekend trip in the midwest, who need some peace and quiet to take a look at the Inn. I guarantee you won't be disappointed! The Bordeaux was the room we stayed in. It was a nice, large room that had it's own jacuzzi tub. You could mingle with other guests in the common area, but this truly felt like our own secluded space.”

Outstanding

Words cannot do the 'Inn' justice, but I'll try my best. It was outstanding. A beautiful home, new construction, but still amazingly cozy. The whole property is absolutely beautiful. Geographically I almost felt I was in Colorado. My girlfriend and I came for our anniversary and nothing could have been better. We went skiing at Devil's Head (next door), watched bald eagles in Prairie du Sac, went to a wine tasting (actually a great vineyard), went snow-shoeing (on-site), and many other great activities. I would not be doing the 'Inn' justice if I didn't mention the inn keepers, Trudy and Dave. They were so welcoming I couldn't thank them more. It's one thing to be welcoming but they are simply very nice people, and very interesting. Salt of the earth. Trudy is a great cook and Dave is a down to earth guy. Both are very easy to talk to. We popped in with a bag of Culver's at midnight and Trudy came up to check on us. Too funny. I wish I could sell my grandma's place in Lake Geneva and just put the money towards trips to the 'Inn.' I'd take a quarterly timeshare if they offered it. Trudy and Dave, if you are reading this thanks a bunch. See you soon! -Chris and Alexa ps. Their mattresses were amazingly comfortable.

A Wonderful Place To Get Away

This was our first B&B experience and we have a feeling we've been spoiled. The Inn is very private and located in a secluded location. Amazing views and property. The hosts obviously care very much about their property so everything is beautifully arranged and well cared for. The trails around the 42 acre property were freshly cleaned with a leaf blower! We stayed in the Secret Garden Room. It is the only guest room on the first floor, so it felt extra private and away from everyone. The Inn has a nice sauna and an amazing hot tub with a dazzling night view of the lake Wisconsin area and star filled sky. Breakfast was delicious and different every morning at your choice of 8 AM or 9 AM. We loved wine and cheese hour and made sure to make it back from our hikes by five. Thank you Dave and Trudy for a wonderful time! We plan to visit again once the snow arrives!

The Place Is Gorgeous!

Usually, I look at website photos online and think that is who they would like to be in their best day. This place however, was more beautiful and more luxurious than the photos. The innkeepers were warm, sophisticated people concerned with your comfort. All of the woodwork was impressive with details that only a real craftsman could build. This place is a keeper!

Week-end At Wawanissee Point

We spent our anniversary at The Inn at Wawanissee Point. From the moment we walked in the door we were treated royally. It felt as if we were guests in Dave and Trudy's home rather than customers. Everything about the Inn is impressive. The maintainance of the property inside and out reflects pride of ownership. The attention to detail is second to none. Dave and Trudy know the area and are able to recommend restaurants, golf courses and activities for all seasons. Trudy is a FABULOU cook and they are both gracious hosts. They have definitely chosen the right business to be in. We look forward to returning often.
