Circa 1897. Tucked on a city street, this Victorian inn is conveniently located near many Portland sites, including museums, restaurants and shops. The guest rooms feature antiques and traditional furnishings. The inn is European in style, and some rooms have a shared bath. Children are welcome, and those younger than 12 can stay for free.

Inn at St John Review

We stayed 2 nights at the Inn at St John in Portland ME on April 27-29th. We had a very nicely decorated period room on the 1st Floor with a window. The room had a private bath, basic cable TV, coffee, wireless Internet and a small refrigerator. Very comfortable beds and very clean and quiet. The continental breakfast could be improved a bit and we were disappointed that we could not get the Travel Channel on the TV. Overall a very nice stay!
