Circa 1815. Originally built as a Publick House, this Federal-style building became the site of the first Confederate stand and hospital during the Civil War. Listed in the National Register, the inn's 19th-century heritage and glory has now been faithfully restored, and a new wing added. Two common rooms overlook the historic area from Peace Light to Little Round Top. Each of the romantic suites feature a fireplace, most offer single or double Jacuzzis. The Garden Room also boasts a round bed, microwave, refrigerator and private deck. An additional area for business needs is included in the Presidential Suite. Enjoy a wonderful country breakfast in the sunroom, as well as afternoon tea and snacks. Stroll the landscaped grounds with two ponds.
