Having traveled around the world and stayed at some bed and breakfast Inns in Europe and the US, I have to say this was the first experience where I and my beloved felt we were staying at our second home at the beautiful Big Bear Lake resort in the San Bernadino Mountains in Southern California, USA. Melissa MMy husband and I have stayed at the Inn at Fawnskin two times and can't wait for our next visit. From the moment you walk through the font door the innkeepers, Nancy and Bill, make you feel as if you are visiting friends you've known for years. The inn is in a perfect location; close enough to the attractions in Big Bear, without being right in the middle of all the crowds. Nancy's cooking is to die for and it just takes one of Bill's stories make you want to spend the entire day listening to more. Nancy, Bill (and of course their dog Heidi) have found a special place in our hearts and I'm sure any one of their guests would tell you the same thing!
