Listen to the quiet at this contemporary log home on an acre with scores of pine trees. The inn is located across the street from the North Shore of Big Bear Lake. It has four guest bedrooms and is decorated in elegant country style with antiques and reproductions. The large master suite has a rock fireplace, a sitting area and a private balcony that overlooks the lake. Guests are free to use the living room (with its large rock fireplace), TV/VCR/DVD and dining room. A country breakfast is served on china in the dining room. The meal includes such delicacies as fresh peaches, a brie and ham omelette with maple-smoked bacon, fresh-squeezed orange juice and freshly-ground coffee. The inn is minutes from boating, fishing, biking trails, ski areas, shops and restaurants. Guests enjoy moonlight walks by the lake and skies filled with stars. Guests who listen carefully may be rewarded by hearing innkeeper Nancy, who once sang at the White House, singing as she creates a perfect atmosphere for guests to relax and unwind.

A SECOND HOME

Inn At Fawnskin

Having traveled around the world and stayed at some bed and breakfast Inns in Europe and the US, I have to say this was the first experience where I and my beloved felt we were staying at our second home at the beautiful Big Bear Lake resort in the San Bernadino Mountains in Southern California, USA. An Inn where we exchanged pleasantries when we arrived and passed out hugs when we checked out. Nancy and Bill are the epitome of hosting, dinning and caring for their guests. We look forward to seeing our new family extension soon. Stephen Hill and my beloved Regina

Perfect Place to Get Away!

Inn At Fawnskin

My husband and I have stayed at the Inn at Fawnskin two times and can't wait for our next visit. From the moment you walk through the font door the innkeepers, Nancy and Bill, make you feel as if you are visiting friends you've known for years. The inn is in a perfect location; close enough to the attractions in Big Bear, without being right in the middle of all the crowds. Nancy's cooking is to die for and it just takes one of Bill's stories make you want to spend the entire day listening to more. Nancy, Bill (and of course their dog Heidi) have found a special place in our hearts and I'm sure any one of their guests would tell you the same thing!
