Romantic!

I started planning my OBX wedding via the internet and phone calls. I knew I wanted to be married on the beach and that was about it. I had the pleasure of happening upon this Inn. My husband and I drove down to check it out one weekend and it was settled, this charming, romantic, VERY close to the beach, with the MOST incredible staff was the place! We had a very nice reception here. The food was amazing and my guests still rave about the service and the comfortable rooms! I think my little beach wedding and Inn reception was completely romantic! We will return for Anniversaries!

romantic get away

a few weeks ago I really needed a break. my husband of 30 yrs found this Inn and thought I would like it, so we got up on Sat morning (luckily we live about 3 hrs away) so we drove down and checked in. Walked into our room (46) and there was the most amazing sunset Ive ever seen! We went out on the balcony and sat in the chairs mesmerized until the sun was almost down. Then walked down to the gazebo and it was so beautiful! I loved it so much that when we checked out on Sunday I made reservations for the next (Easter) weekend. It was just as amazing, we had longer, saw the wild ponys, rode bikes, drank wine and watched the sun set and the osprey hunt, met some wonderful people, when it was dark, we lit the fireplace... so wonderful, cannot wait to go back!! Amazing sunsets, wine, fireplace, and the man you love, how could it not be very romantic?!
