Outstanding Bed and Breakfast

We stayed at blackberry creek with another couple while wine tasting in Walla Walla at the end of September 2022. Both couples agreed that blackberry Creek was by far the most outstanding B&B we’ve ever stayed at. It is located in downtown Walla Walla but on a substantial amount of property which backs up to the owner’s private residence. It is surrounded by lush green grass, trees, flower gardens and has plenty of cute outdoor seating areas to enjoy the outdoors. The inside of the B&B is absolutely spotless with great attention to detail. There are three rooms available to stay in inside the B&B, along with a common lounging area upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen and lounging area downstairs is where breakfast is served. There is also one restroom located downstairs. The decor inside is traditional with beautiful area rugs, artwork, and comfortable seating. The fourth guest room is adjacent to the B&B, sharing an attached wall, however you must go outside through a little gate to enter the room, which seems to be a down side if you want to be near the other features of the B&B, but great if you want a little extra privacy. It has a tiny patio with A hot tub, which we did not use. We preferred to be inside the main B&B lounging areas with the other couple. Inside the B&B, guests are allowed to go into the kitchen to use the espresso machine and make tea or hot chocolate. There is also a refrigerator with drinks just for guests. There is also a snack station with cookies, granola bars, and trail mix next to the drink refrigerator as well as all the same snacks, including cookies, are in each guestroom, which was a lovely and very thoughtful gesture. The cookies are homemade every day. The B&B chef’s name is Theresa and she is quite lovely and did a wonderful job with breakfast. Our only negative feedback I have is the outdoor guestroom (Van Gogh) has a very dark bathroom and shower. My husband and I loved the guestroom and its beautiful wood shelves and the well stocked dishes and wine glasses. The bed was very comfortable. I will add that the sheets were a little scratchy, and I think these could be upgraded to a higher thread count and my suggestion would be the Costco Kirkland 680 thread count sheets which cost $89.99 for a king-size set! Photos of the bathroom will reveal how dark it is, which created sort of a dreary feeling. I can imagine that in winter in Walla Walla when it’s rainy out, it would feel even worse. I would recommend placing a mirror that has added perimeter lighting above the sink and installing some sort of lighting on the ceiling in the shower and bathroom to brighten it up. Otherwise, there was no mold or mildew in the bathroom, and no odor, which I might have expected in such a dark bathroom. Lastly, the other couple stayed upstairs in the Cezanne Suite and loved it. They had a beautiful large bathroom that was very well lit. Also there was a king size bed which they reported was extremely comfortable. All four of us decided we would definitely stay at the Inn at blackberry creek again if visiting Walla Walla. Again, the attention to detail throughout the inn is a lovely gesture, and very much appreciated. The only other staff person we met was the kind and extremely informative lady who checked us in who gave us great restaurant dining options in town. Maybe Barbara?

Amazing B&B in Walla Walla Wine Country

My husband and I had the most amazing 2 night stay at the Inn at Blackberry Creek. The location was, the breakfasts were out of this world incredible and the room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We added the date night basket for a romantic evening. I have already told all my friends they have to stay here the next time they are in Walla Walla. We will definitely be back.

Romantic Snowy retreat

While in town to sample the Spring weather and wine we happened to get a late snowfall which may have made our stay at the Inn that much more enjoyable! Private hot tub on the deck, coffee by the fireplace, fresh cookies. This is our new "go-to" when in Walla Walla

23rd Anniversary!

We only had 2 days we could celebrate and couldnt go far from home due to family situation. We couldnt have chosen better!! What a wonderful retreat from the world (Van Gogh's cottage)! Had all sorts of little treats and drinks and anything we could have thought of. The very discrete staff were amazing and breakfast was amazing! We will be back and will be recommending the Inn at BlackBerry Creek to friends and family.

The Best Ever Romantic Retreat!

We have had, once again, an absolutely exquisite time at the charmingly, well-appointed Inn at Blackberry Creek! We are greeted with the upmost in hospitality, generous accommodations, home-baked pastries and an historic home full of art and style of the Impressionist Painters! There are gardens to stroll in & alfresco dining to enjoy with their delicious breakfasts... made to order! We had a private Jacuzzi in our ‘Renoir Room’, a beautifully tile bath, chocolates, and the best night sleep ever!

Romantic in Walla Walla

This is a beautifully furnished and located B&B. The breakfasts were superb; the scones incomparable. Why did I not give it a five-heart overall; one reason--our beautiful room was on the second floor and it was a long steep climb with heavy suitcases. Other than that the Inn was perfect.

Returned for a fourth time!

Absolutely LOVE this Inn. The layout is perfect for upstairs if you are traveling with two couples. Our last visit we had both Jen and Penney as our chefs and they always amaze. So wonderful. We will be returning in late Fall and can hardly wait.

Loved the Inn at Blackberry Creek

Our children gave us a gift certificate to the Inn at Blackberry Creek for Christmas. We had never been to Walla Walla wine tasting. We loved the Blackberry Inn, the grounds are beautiful and we had a wonderful breakfast every morning before exploring the great wineries in Walla Walla. We would recommend the Inn at Blackberry Creek to anyone visiting Walla Walla.

Relaxing stay

This was our second time staying here and we do enjoy the experience. Everything was perfect including the weather. We rode the bikes to Main St. and then just walked around. It is an easy ride there and back. Very tasty scones and cookies and lovely breakfasts. We joined a wine club just for an excuse to come back.

Absolutely wonderful!

This B&B is the best inn we’ve ever stayed in. The home is 115 years old and has been beautifully restored. The grounds are absolutely stunning. Our host was lovely and made the most delicious breakfast every morning...she generously shared her scone recipe with me...yum, I would stay here just for the scones. Do yourself a favor and book this delightful Inn.

Beautiful older home in country setting

We enjoyed our stay here in this 1908 inn set back from the street by a wide expanse of lawn with huge old trees and hydrangeas. Very comfy bed, robes, bath amenities, a little electric fireplace and made to order breakfast.

perfect for a cozy & romantic weekend

We visited Walla Walla in November for some wine tasting, and this was the perfect place to stay. Our room was beautiful, clean, and cozy, breakfast was delicious, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and there were lots of thoughtful details like a refreshment area with freshly baked cookies and beverages. We will definitely being staying here again!

Surpassed Expectations

I first visited the Inn when dropping off my daughter for college. Since then, I've stayed in the Inn four times. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast has been a treat each time. Who doesn't love fresh, warm homemade scones right from the oven? Last week I visited there with my sister. We woke up early, sat by the fireplace, and enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee before breakfast. It was heaven. Can't wait to return.

A romantic treasure!

This relaxing and beautiful Victorian estate is a BandB lovers precious find! After staying at wonderful and varied BandBs in the Pacific Northwest annually for over 25 years, we have found our slice of heaven at The Inn at Blackberry Creek! Expansive manicured lawns surrounding the house are graced with huge age-old trees. Gentle breezes whisper through the leaves; RELAX...and everywhere you look is a profusion of plants, flowers, and color. Barb, the innkeeper, is also a gem! She unfailingly added to our every comfort. We can’t wait for our next stay!

Fabulous Visit

We had an amazing time staying at this quaint B&B. We stayed in the Van Gogh Suite and would highly recommend it if you are visiting beautiful Walla Walla! The breakfasts were amazing - my husband is Gluten Free and they provided amazing homemade GF scones every day along with other delicious GF options. The extra touches - waters/seltzer in the fridge, cookies (GF ones too) at night all added to our amazing stay. There is also plenty of room to order food in and eat on the deck or garden area - or inside too, which was a great option given our current pandemic. We can't wait to return!

Outstanding Accommodation!

We had such a great stay at the Inn! Everything exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Van Gough room which came with its own private patio and hot tub. The room was huge with a full kitchen and there were even delicious homemade cookies waiting for us! The grounds are exquisite and a wonderful place to relax. We also had the use of bikes to wander around town and head out to the nearby lake. Breakfast in the morning was superb, homemade, and so filling. I hope we have a chance to stay here again!

Amazing Stay For Honeymoon

My wife and I stayed at the Inn at Blackberry Creek for our mini-moon and had an absolutely amazing time. We stayed in the Renoir Room. The owners / staff are incredibly nice. The Inn is clean, well-maintained and sits on beautiful grounds where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon tea. There is free coffee / tea / snacks available throughout the day. The Renoir room was perfect and so romantic - soft, large bed; updated bathroom with comfortable rainfall shower; outdoor deck where we enjoyed our in-room breakfast and a jacuzzi we used at night. The Inn is absolutely perfect and we would highly recommend it. If we return to Walla Walla, we will stay here again.

Returning home visit

We recently stayed for 2 nights in the Renior room and LOVED it! The room was comfortable and the private deck with 2 person hot tub was just what we needed after days of driving across the country. Breakfast was delicious and they even made us gluten-free scones cause we're bougie like that! The house also had plenty to drink with some ice cream in the freezer. Plus the house cat "Camile" was super loving!

We have stayed at the Inn at Blackberry Creek many times over the years. The owner and staff are just fantastic. The grounds are immaculate and peaceful and the delicious breakfast starts the day off just wonderfully!

Lovely stay

We have little experience with B and B’s, but staying at the Inn at Blackberry Creek has spoiled us and raised our expectations for any similar place. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful home and grounds and appreciated the quiet setting. Off-street parking was a real plus. Our room (Monet’s Retreat), was just lovely and the bed so comfortable. We were surprised by the elegance of the breakfasts, complete with fresh scones, fresh fruit and many cooked to order choices, excellent coffee and wonderful service. Even the table settings were special. There were always complimentary snacks and beverages available as well as freshly baked cookies twice a day. We weren’t ready to leave when our stay was over and will definitely stay again!

Birthday Wishes!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Inn. We enjoyed the beautiful decor, yummy breakfasts served by a friendly and kind chef. The gardens are gorgeous and the grounds surrounding the Inn are a peaceful respite from the noisy, crazy world. We will recommend to anyone who plans to visit Walla Walla or the surrounding area and we will stay again. It was a fun way to celebrate my husband's birthday.

Wine Lover

My husband and I stayed 2 evenings at this lovely inn for our wine tasting visit to Walla Walla and couldn’t have been happier. The inn is charming and immaculate with great attention to detail — the rooms are quiet with comfortable beds and great showers. Although you can’t walk to restaurants and the tasting rooms downtown, it’s just a short drive. The inn is a tranquil oasis with lovely gardens making that a minor or non issue. In addition to all that, the breakfasts are delicious. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely Heavenly

Inn at Blackberry Creek was an amazing gem hidden away in a quiet neighborhood close to a gorgeous park as well as downtown Walla Walla. The lawn and gardens were a blissful place to read and relax, and the bicycles provided were a blast to explore on. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, and the amenities included were absolute perfection. I can recommend this little haven enough.

A bit of Heaven in Walla Walla, Wa

Had a wonderful stay at the Inn @ BlackBerry Creek. Barbara the owner was very pleasant, helpful and full of recommendations. The breakfasts were amazing and what was nice they gave your a menu to choose from. The scrambled eggs cook the French way were so flavorful and light. Barbara makes her own scones which were to die for. She bakes cookies daily for an added treat. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Beautiful decor. Felt right at home. Can't wait for an opportunity to return. Thank you Barbara, Jen & Carle for your great services.

First Time A Charm , Second Time a Charm, Third Time a Charm

Our regular trips to Walla Walla must include stays at Inn at Blackberry Creek ! Beautiful , peaceful property with wonderful staff and a breakfast that offers so many special home cooked treats. Barbara the owner is sensational with attention to detail . Penny was our most recent breakfast preparer and she always has a specialty for breakfast. We build our wine tasting visit dates around the Inn's availability .

Sublime...

We absolutely loved our two nights at the Inn at Blackberry Creek. Our room was beautiful, and every amenity was thought of. Breakfasts were really extraordinary, fresh from the oven/stove, and truly delicious and generous The grounds must be mentioned as they obviously are lovingly tended and so serene. A few moments on the large veranda was most welcome. We hope to return sometime when we aren't so rushed, as we would love to be at the Inn and simply enjoy being just there. Thank you Barbara and staff!!

Perfection!

Every detail was perfect. Our stay at the Inn at Blackberry Creek was more than we could have wished for. Snacks and kitchen access, wraparound porch with comfy seating, the hot tub on the deck of our room, the grounds. It all add for reason enough to return to the Inn. I’d like to keep it our little secret but that would be unfair.

Wonderful B&B!

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn. The house was beautiful, immaculate, perfectly decorated and very comfortable. The landscaping and gardens around the house were amazing - we even saw deer in the back yard! There were homemade cookies each day, a fully stocked beverage refrigerator, and the home-cooked breakfast was fantastic. There were many items on the menu to choose from and a "special of the day" that was a treat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would love to be able to stay here again!

Romantic stay for our anniversary!

My wife and I had a quick weekend getaway for our anniversary. The Inn at Blackberry Creek luckily had an opening and we were able to stay a night. We love the quiet grounds, proximity to downtown, and comfy room. We have stayed before and this recent stay did not disappoint. We will be looking for opportunities to stay again in the near future. Thank you for a memorable weekend!

Romantic gardens and historical Victorian setting

Our very favorite B&B where we've enjoyed many stays. The home, rooms and gardens are impeccable, but warm and welcoming. We always enjoy sitting on the front porch in the comfortable chairs. Adorable, cozy, B&B

Our new fave place to stay in Walla Walla, been there twice and will always make it a priority to book here if possible. My husband and I (millennials both) hate staying in hotels. Too sterile and never comfortable. This place is gorgeous (seriously, walk the grounds), inviting, and comfortable. We've stayed in two different rooms and both were great - private bath, comfortable bed, great spaces throughout the house to sit and enjoy some tea. Breakfast is also AMAZING, every morning we've had a meal there it's delightful and plentiful. They also provide snacks, freshly made cookies, teas, flavored water for you to take. My only wish would be if they had a plug accessible to the parking lot - we drive an electric vehicle and bring extension cords wherever we go, just none available here - so we park at the university overnight we walk/run/bike back to the B&B as they do provide free bikes for use around town.

Fabulous Graduation Weekend

There are simply not enough words to describe the Inn at Blackberry Creek. Barbara and her long time crew just never miss a beat from booking to check in to check out (which is always a sad time --- testament to having had a terrific stay!!!), she and her group just simply don't miss. Stayed the whole weekend for our Grandson's college graduation, had some SIGNIFICANT issues with logistics.....ALL on our end and she and her crew just simply did everything in their power to make certain that we had a smooth and uneventful time, from their end! They succeeded beyond, way beyond, our expectations. We will always stay there as long as she and her crew are in charge and there is "room in the Inn" !! Bob & Karen Seattle, WA

FIVE stars

My only regret about staying at the INN at BLACKBERRY CREEK is that we didn't stay longer. It was only a one night stop on our way to our vacation destination. The grounds and Inn were stunningly gorgeous! We had a room with a private deck and hot tub which was very comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was fabulously delicious. I would definitely stay here again and refer to any of our friends.

Don’t miss out staying here!

What a wonderful stay - the surroundings are peaceful and a great place to wander, or grab a book and read. The Inn is historic with wonderful attention to detail….simple but elegant. The rooms are well appointed.with a wonderfully romantic feel and intimacy. In the morning, the coffee is hot and ready to go no matter what time you wake up. There are snacks available at all hours, but don’t snack too much as breakfast prepared to order is in store at your appointed time! We were on the road from Washington to Idaho, Montana to Oregon for 16 nights and can honestly say this was the highlight of the trip!

The BEST Choice

From the driveway arriving to the driveway leaving this was an exceptional and lovely place to start and end our Walla Walla adventure. Barbara, the owner, was so helpful. The house is a labor of love and kept so beautifully. Theresa, the morning Chef, is simply fabulous. She had such unique and fabulous breakfast choices. Cozy Romantic Getaway

My wife and I had a delightful, cozy, romantic overnight stay at the Inn at Blackberry Creek. Just before Christmas it was warm with the gas and electric fires, the décor was charming, and the staff was friendly as well as helpful. We stayed in the "Renoir" room with a hot tub for two just outside on the deck. The king size bed was comfortable, and the shower was amazing. The breakfast menu was creative and tasty (great scones!), and the chef was congenial and obliging. We enjoyed our conversation with her. The location of the Inn is excellent, near the park and near downtown. We look forward to visiting in the summer to enjoy the lawn and the creek. Overall, highly recommended.

Wonderful Inn

We have stayed at many B&Bs. This one makes it to the top of the list. As you pull into the driveway you come upon a beautiful inn in a tranquil setting. There are multiple places where you can sit and enjoy the surroundings. The inside decor is just as beautiful as the outside. We stayed in the Monet room and it was perfect. Breakfast is wonderful and enough options to satisfy everyone. Definitely would stay again.

Convenient and Comfortable Inn in Walla Walla, WA

My husband and I very much enjoyed our recent weekend at the Inn at Blackberry Creek. We were visiting from the East Coast during Whitman College's Family Weekend to see our son. The inn was a convenient and short drive to campus, or a 20 minute walk. We stayed in the "Cezanne" suite and the bed was very comfortable, with a variety of pillows to choose from already on the bed. The two chairs and side table were comfortable for working on a laptop, drinking coffee in the morning, or enjoying a glass of wine or homemade fresh baked cookies available every day. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. We'll definitely be going back!

A place to return again and again

The Inn at Blackberry Creek impressed from the moment we walked in! Situated along side a stream, there are plenty of places to relax - from the fire pit & hot tub outside, to the fireplace with fresh cookies and coffee in the beautifully appointed interior. The quality of the breakfasts & service in the morning were superb! Highly recommend a stay at this Inn!

Lovely inn for a romantic getaway

My husband and I stayed one night, for our Anniversary, and it was absolutely lovely. The room was spacious and well equipped, the bed was comfy, had an electric fireplace, frig, iron, etc. Beautiful design and decor throughout the house, and delicious breakfast (as well as snacks, drinks, and a coffee/expresso machine available at all times). I also loved the several common areas--one upstairs with games and books, and one downstairs with a fireplace. Porch and patio, bikes to use, and pretty grounds--overall a great place to stay to visit the wineries. We will definitely stay here again if we come back this way.

Mother daughter get away

This is our second time at this lovely Inn. The owner Barbara takes great care in making sure everything is as you would expect in a quality Inn. And she is very friendly. Inn is clean and the breakfast is wonderful. Her small staff makes you feel right at home. We will never stay anywhere else.

The Best!

Since finding the Inn at Blackberry Creek in 2005 we have made it our ‘go-to’ spot when visiting Walla Walla. We even drive a little out of our way to stay there when traveling to Seattle. All the guest rooms and public areas are beautifully appointed with a French artists theme. Breakfasts are wonderful with juice, coffee, scones, a fruit bowl plus choice of entree and meats. The grounds are lovely with great landscaping, a wrap around covered porch, patio and firepit. You won’t go wrong choosing to stay at thin inn.

Wonderful relaxing stay for Walla Walla Wine tasting!

My husband and I recently returned from a lovely stay at the Inn at Blackberry Creek for a post Thanksgiving wine tasting vacation. We were fortunate to have very nice early winter weather and enjoyed our relaxing getaway in the Van Gogh Private Garden Suite. The delicious full breakfast's prepared by Teresa helped make us ready for a nice day of winery visits. The inn's close proximity to town made it easy to navigate to nearby tasting rooms and restaurants on Main Street. We could also enjoy a lovely glass of wine in our garden hot tub after a full day of exploring! We highly recommend this well appointed bed and breakfast and plan to return!

Hidden, Quiet, Gem in Walla Walla

I strongly recommend staying at the Inn. If you know Walla Walla, you'll appreciate the clustering of the usual hotels on the west side and maybe one or two downtown, but this estate is in the middle of a large plot of land south of downtown with a creek, a pond, elegant landscaping, and quiet. We stayed in the Renoir suite and while I didn't get to see the other rooms, ours was perfect for our trip. It was tastefully decorated, with amenities such as a big screen TV and a mini fridge, but what set this room apart was the private patio with a jacuzzi for two. It was warm and waiting when we arrived. It felt wonderful after a long day of touring wineries around town. The room also had a walk in shower big enough for 2, double vanity, and plenty of towels. Each morning we were greeted by our host for breakfast, but rather than the innkeeper, we were greeted by a local chef from one of the better restaurants. She served some of the best breakfasts we have had in a long time; inventive, tasty, healthy, and always accompanied by scones and fresh fruit. Theresa was a gem, great to talk to and always trying to get us to relax and enjoy our vacation. She had helpful suggestions for lesser known sites around town, and a rich knowledge of the area. If I had to change anything about this great find, it would be to soften up the king size mattress in the Renoir suite, find a mini-fridge that opens to the left and bring more light into the bathroom area.

A lovley stay!

So glad I did the research and found this gem. Both my partner and I enjoyed visiting this property. Breakfast was nothing ordinary. From fancy plates to mouth watering scones and specials that oozed creativity we really enjoyed breakfast. The cook was very pleasant and all staff were kind. Property is very clean and well cared for. We also loved the bikes!

When in Walla Walla

Stay at the Inn at Blackberry Creek. We stayed in the Renoir room on the main floor. It was a nice size and had a nice shower which is important to me. No bathtubs for this old man. The breakfast every morning was creative and delicious. And if you are in town to visit wineries, there is no better place to stay. It is centrally located to most wineries, You get a lot for your money at the Inn at Blackberry Creek.

Business Leisure

We are returning with lovely comfortable memories mostly re: the two man jacuzzi!! Fitted out on our balcony but not happy we didn't get that one. Our breakfast came in a fun wooden laced picnic basket very tasty. Loved the bullfrog sounds; being in the jacuzzi with the turkeys in the trees, geese honking and racing around the pond or river?? Wanted to stay but really expensive.

Birthday getaway

We did a quick getaway to Walla Walla and I wanted to stay somewhere special to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The Van Gogh suite was a perfect choice! It was everything I was expecting and more. The suite was clean, well appointed, had lovely snacks and the hot tub was perfect! The grounds were amazing to walk around. Just wish it had been warm enough to sit by the fire pit! And the breakfast was so good- delivered to the room in a wonderful picnic basket. Amazing! We will definitely come stay there again.

A step back in time...

Our stay at Inn at Blackberry Creek felt like what living in Walla Walla and small-town America might have been like. The grounds and decorating are impeccable and they set the stage for relaxing, socializing, and enjoying the day with a leisurely breakfast, a casual bike ride, and after a bit of wine tasting, a rest in the garden with friends. The Inn helps to create a delicate balance of privacy and socializing amidst a wonderful old-world backdrop.

Idyllic Retreat

I loved my stay at the Inn! My room, Monet's retreat, was restful and beautiful. My room had a comfy four poster bed, the windows looked out to a view of trees, and I feel asleep to the sound of frogs and crickets chirping in the creek. Theresa made a delicious breakfast with homemade cherry chocolate chip scones on the side. I also appreciated that she really took time to connect with me because I was there on my own. The decor and the landscaping were also gorgeous and it was nice to be walking distance to the park and downtown! I will definitely be back again.

A Beautiful Retreat at the Inn at BlackBerry Creek!

From the moment you drive into this beautiful, tree-lined and bountiful garden-scape, you know you are in for a treat..this is a very special place. Attention to detail is one of this Inn keeper’s strength and she has thoughtfully appointed it with most every amenity a person could seek! From fresh baked cookies to delectable two-course breakfasts to an inviting living to wrap-around porch, to the luxurious spa-like suites, all in the art of the Impressionists, you will feel pampered just being there ! We have been coming back for over 2o years!

Week stay at Blackberry Inn

The inn has got it figured out. Beautiful grounds, lovely interior and decor, and immaculate comfortable rooms. The breakfasts are to be commended. Inventive egg dishes, delicious varied scones or just fruit and homemade granola and yogurt. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast or later having a glass of wine on the porch. We’ll be back!

Wonderful retreat while wine tasting with friends

This was our second stay and this time we brought our friends. The house and the gardens surrounding it are beautiful. It was fun to see Camille again too! Theresa is a wonderful chef and she kept us full with her creative and yummy breakfast options each morning. Our friends were also impressed and we’ll all look forward to future stays at this lovely Inn.

Romantic Peaceful Weekend

There are so many wonderful aspects of the Inn at Blackberry Creek. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and private baths. There is an upstairs sitting area overlooking the lovely grounds as well as plenty of seating area downstairs. You awaken each morning to a your own catered 5-star breakfast sitting on the deck surrounded by nature. The grounds are truly spectacular. It's like a sanctuary that surrounds you. There are huge trees that I would guess are at least 400 years old. There is a creek that flows down one side of the property and makes a right turn across the width of the property. It's truly delightful to stroll through the grounds and enjoy the flowers and plants and trees. Now that you are totally refreshed and energized to start the day's adventures, why not check out the hundreds of wineries and vineyards throughout the area?

Exceeded expectations!

The photos on the website are lovely, but the Inn is so much nicer than I really expected it to be. The Van Gogh Suite was gorgeous! A nice quality, well stocked kitchen area, a gorgeously remodeled bathroom, and very spacious area. The bed was very comfy, and it was so quiet and peaceful too! The staff was outstanding, which one would expect, but I felt that they were all fabulous. And the breakfasts were top notch delicious! My friend had never stayed at a B&B, and he loved it! He wants to go back, (as do I). Thank you for a great stay!!

Lovely Stay

The Inn at Blackberry Creek is truly a luxury stay in Walla Walla. Our room (with private bath) was spacious and exceptionally clean. We loved sitting on the front porch with our morning coffee and being served an exquisite breakfast on the back deck. Both overlook the beautifully maintained grounds. This B&B is a must stay when in Walla Walla. Barbara is a fantastic host!

Beautiful Inn and grounds

Inn at Blackberry Creek is probably the most wonderful Inn we have stayed at. I hesitate to write a review because I don't want it to be too booked when we visit again. The grounds are peaceful, beautiful and perfectly groomed. The entire place is spotless and tastefully decorated. Our room was just the right size and included a spacious bathroom. We had a delicious breakfast with menu choices that was prepared at our requested time. I wish that we had used the fire pits and enjoyed the facilities even more, but we were tired from all of the wine tasting.

The Blackberry Inn sets in the middle of beautiful landscaped grounds. The Inn is extremely welcoming and comfortable. The atmosphere is inviting with a lovely porch with soft wicker furniture, several lounge area scattered throughout our the house and great lighting. A beautiful home and property not too far from downtown Walla Walla. The woman who greeted, did the checkin, gave a tour of the home and led us to our bedroom was very pleasant. Beautiful B&B in Walla Walla

My husband and I have stayed at the Inn at Blackberry Creek 5 times. We love the gorgeous setting, beautiful gardens and cozy rooms. Barbara is a wonderful host, she thinks of everything. The gourmet breakfasts are amazing and probably the only thing that could lure us out of the comfortable beds! We also appreciate the availability of snacks and drinks in the pantry. Walla Walla is a lovely town, we enjoy wine tasting in the area along with visiting the shops and restaurants in town. Highly recommend a visit to the area and a stay at this lovely Inn.

Quiet and quaint

We stayed 2 nights in the Monet’s room and had the whole inn to ourselves during our stay. I couldn’t believe how quiet and peaceful it was and the surrounding gardens are beautiful, too bad it was very cold and rainy but would love to come back in warmer weather. The breakfast both mornings that Carlie prepared were very delicious and filling. Definitely someplace we would stay again.

I award this the best stay in Walla Walla!

This wonderful B&B puts hotels to shame. Why would anyone not stay at this beautiful property, cozy, large rooms w large bathroom area. though there was a fireplace in the room, we relaxed downstairs in the living area to enjoy the fireplace and comfortable chairs. Staff was so nice and the Breakfast chef made the most amazing mouth watering breakfasts ever. My husband and I WILL be back! Staying at the Inn at BlackBerry Creek

If you’ve not yet visited Walla Walla, Washington, you must go! The town is charming, the wineries are absolutely incredible (think Napa back thirty years ago) and when you’re ready to spend the evening, there is no more romantic or gorgeous setting than the Inn at Blackberry Creek. Barbara’s breakfast is the best I’ve had. I give it six stars and look forward to our next visit.

Relaxing Romantic Getaway

We had been wanting to stay here for quite some time, and it did not disappoint! The rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The complimentary items were a wonderful addition to making our stay great. The breakfast was so tasty with many choices which we appreciated. It was nice to visit with the staff, they made us feel very welcome. We sincerely appreciate Their willingness to accommodate my husband and his bad knees by moving us down stairs. That meant so much to us, outstanding customer service that is so appreciated! The grounds ware beautiful, even though it was in the middle of winter when we stayed. We can not wait to come visit again this spring or fall to see and utilize the beautiful yard when it is at its glory. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, we highly recommend the Inn at Blackberry Creek.

Romantic 50th Anniversary Stay

Had never stayed in Walla Walla. Was looking for a romantic B&B for my wife and I to stay. Inn at Blackberry Creek caught my eye and did some research on it. Reviews were all excellent. I chose the Renoir room as it had a private balcony and a hot tub. TV/internet available and both worked perfect. Room decor was pleasing to see and well complimented. Everything was clean. Always check the shower, hot tub, toilet, frig, and bed. All were to my demanding standards. Theresa prepared our breakfasts. She is an amazing chef. Perfect display of food on plates and each meal was very tasty and nutritious. Theresa is supposed to also work at The Vine. Very high end fine dining establishment. Recommend for a perfect romantic dinner, but be prepared for the cost. We had trout and scallops with no alcoholic drinks. Cost+ $236.00. You've been warned. Beautiful nights in the cozy hot tub at just the right temperature. Plenty of complimentary snacks and drinks available any time. Grounds were immaculate with lovely creek flowing behind inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and you will too, I am sure.

Amazing B&B

We aren't usually Bed and Breakfast people, but we would 100% stay here again. The location was great (walking distance to downtown Walla Walla and all the wine tasting rooms), the hosts were full of suggestions, and the Inn itself is lovely. Best of all the food was fabulous - interesting breakfast specials daily, and options for other fare. Rooms were perfect. We'd like to come back when the weather is nicer to take advantage of the great outdoor spaces too (although fireplaces were cozy).

Serene place to stay

Loved our stay at the Inn. The environment is so peaceful with beautiful trees and birds chirping. Comfortable bed with a cozy fireplace. Anything we needed was found at this Inn. Would definitely stay here again!

Too Good!

I hate to give a review because it's already difficult to get a reservation here! It's just that good!!! It's been our favorite B&B for years now and it just gets better and better! There isn't a single thing negative I could say about this place. The comfort of the rooms, the delicious food, the amenities, and of course, the gorgeous, perfectly kept grounds, make the the best-ever B&B!

Breathtaking and Relaxing

I didn't want to initially do this review because once people read it, the reservations will be full, and we may not be able to book accommodations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt so relaxed and welcomed. The grounds were exceptional, as was the breakfasts and most of all the host(s). Loved the outside cat Camille, who was also very welcoming and a delight to be around. This website won't let me rate the property areas such as service, condition, etc. for some reason BUT they all desire 5 STARS!

Most beautiful Inn

We stayed sadly only one night at the BlackBerry Inn but will always remember it and hope we can revisit. Everything was perfect. The location is very convenient to the main town/restaurants and it was simple to find off the highway driving in. Yet the neighbourhood is stunningly beautiful this time of the year particularly with all the trees in blossom. The Inn itself is the Hk e we all wished we had, it is so cosy and thoughtfully decorated and appointed. There is real love here for the property, and the staff we met were the most gorgeous people, completely warm and welcoming. If you ever go anywhere near the Walla Walla area you MUST stay with the wonderful people at Blackberry Inn. Even as we packed our car to drive out a deer trotted out of the garden right by us…it is a magical place.

Exceptional in every way!

We have stayed at the Inn each year for over 10 years now. Just exceptional in every way. The staff has been there many years, welcoming and so helpful! Great rooms and amenities and the breakfast menu and meal preparation is fantastic. We have thought about eating breakfast at one of the local places we've heard about, but there's just no reason to do that with the menu choices and excellence and the inn.

Excellent!

This is a first-rate place to stay. The breakfasts and treats were delicious and artistic, staff very friendly and attentive to guests, our bedroom, bathroom, and common areas very comfortable. The house renovation construction quality (materials and craftsmanship) was clearly well-managed and the gardens gorgeous. My only complaint was the bed itself. Seems like it's time to change the mattress. It had a head-to-toe sag which made lying on one's side rather difficult. I always use a fairly thick pillow at home, but due to the bed sag, I couldn't use a pillow at all. But all else was superb.

Our stay at the Inn at Blackberry Creek

Over the years my husband and I have stayed in many B and B's across the U.S. and in other countries. In our opinions the Inn at Blackberry Creek is the most wonderful B and B we have ever stayed at. We stayed there 5 years ago and loved it and love it now. Everything about it from the grounds, the house the rooms, the food, the employees was excellent. We took friends with us and they loved it just as much as we did. They even have a B and B cat that was there 5 years ago and is still there. She was very friendly and talkative. I would highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Walla Walla.....look them up you wont be disappointed.

This was one of the BEST inns we have ever stayed at. Everything was perfection: the extraordinarily comfortable and beautiful room, an excellent breakfast chef, gorgeous grounds and a friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Blackberry Creek. Our rooms were spotless, the breakfast was great and the grounds were beautiful. We had the pleasure of watching a doe and her twin fawns eating blackberries across the creek. I highly recommend this B&B.

Romantic and Beautiful

Honestly the best B & B experience we have ever had! The property is beautiful, the house/rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. All high end linens and bathroom products. The breakfast was delicious with the best homemade scones we have ever had! Lots of snacks and and drinks. Delicious coffee, lattes, teas, etc. Stay a few nights! One night was not enough for us!!!! (I am not able to rate this property, but it is a Five Star + in my opinion)

Delightfully Quaint Inn on a Stunning Property

We are a Canadian couple. We stayed at the Inn for the 1st time in Oct. 2022 and again in October 2023. It was a wonderful experience both times. The staff is friendly, helpful and KIND, and the breakfasts are AMAZING! My husband and I are foodies, and as such, we're difficult to impress. However, the IBC impresses us every time! Camille, the resident Kitty, is a delight :) We are returning for a 3rd stay in Oct. 2024. That says it all. You will not be disappointed if you choose the Inn at Blackberry Creek for your next getaway. Bonni & Brian, Belcarra, BC

Romantic days

Barbara is an expert at making your stay perfect in every way. Her inn is like a very warm house with a beautiful fireplace and comfy chairs to sit beside. And the breakfast is amazing. Best scones in the world. She doesn’t miss anything. We go back over and over again. Bed and linens are truly the best we have ever slept on. This inn should win 1st place

Absolutely our favorite B&B!

Recently visited for the 6th time. Love everything about this place! Lovely options for sitting and relaxing, inside as well as outside. Close to wonderful restaurants and plenty of wine tasting options. The breakfasts have been beyond superb. A definite destination for my husband and I who live in the Portland, OR area minimum of once a year!

Must stay here!

We stayed in the Van Gogh private suite. It was spacious and had a great kitchenette with your own espresso/coffee machine. The bed was very comfy and we each had three pillows, soft, medium, and hard. It was completely private with our own hot tub and small courtyard. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Barbara, the owner, even allowed us an early check-in. Beautiful grounds and just all around a lovely place to stay!
