         <title>Seminole Country Inn</title>
         <link>http://www.iloveinns.com/bed_and_breakfasts/florida/seminole.htm</link>
<description>Selected as one of the top 20 inns in Florida by the St. Petersburg Times, this historic inn is located halfway between Palm Beach and Lake Okeechobee in a citrus and cattle ranch area. Wallis Simpson was once a guest here because the Duchess was the niece of the inn's builder, a banker and railroad man. A winding staircase that leads to an upstairs sitting room highlights an inviting lobby. Guest rooms are filled with antiques and period decor. A restaurant is in the inn's dining room, an impressive site to behold with tall Palladium windows and 20-inch-thick walls. The menu features a wide variety of Southern favorites mingled with a bit of nouveau cuisine and is acclaimed for its fine offerings. An assortment of interesting events and tours are available such as traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, trail rides, barbecues and swamp tours.</description>
