The Inn at Brandywine Falls

"There is nothing which has yet been contrived by man, by which so much happiness is produced as by a good tavern or inn." The Life of Samuel Johnson by James Boswell, quote cited March 21, 1776, p. 287.

Following in this vein, Rebecca Marchino reviews The Inn at Brandywine Falls in Ohio.

Romancing the Falls

"This is by far my favorite Bed and Breakfast in the United States! George and Katie are warm and loving Inn keepers that are characters of their own! They have such interesting stories, they could entertain for hours! But, with so much to do..there never seems to be enough time to delight in all they have to tell! As for the inn...it is unique and charming, warm and inviting, and sooo romantic. With the falls playing like a never ending soundtrack, the mood always seems right for a little romance! Might I suggest the loft or granary...by far my favorite places to stay!
As for things to do..hiking, horseback riding, even sleigh rides are within walking distance.
I would give this establishment and the inn keepers a 5 star plus rating!"

"One of the items on my bucket list is to visit all 50 states. Prior to this trip I have been to 32 states. Most of this was accomplished by completing another bucket list item of going to a baseball game at all 30 major league stadiums.
This trip we stayed at three states, Mississippi, Arkansas and Oklahoma. We had plans to go to New Orleans but hurrican Issac chaged that for us. Well now I have 35 states done and working on the other 15.

Our stay at the Grandison Inn was great. The room and all the facilities were more than what we had expected.

The Innkeeper's graddaughter Natilee was a real chamer and we enjoyed her attention to us. The Inn is close to just about anything you might want to do.
Being a baseball nut and a Yankees fan and being a Bronx boy I had to go to Mickey Mantels Restaurant. We also went to the Cowboy Museum. This was a really very interesting place to spend time.
I don't know if we will get back to OKC but if we do, we will stay at the Inn again.

Best B&B Ever

The Inn on Main Street was one of the best Bed and Breakfasts we've ever stayed in Weaverville NC. The number one thing that impressed us was the warmth and hospitality of the owners, Dan and Nan. From making sure every delicious food item they prepared for us was keeping with my wife's Vegan diet to telling us where to go in Ashland (which is only 10 minutes away) and telling us stories about the area and its history (Dan was a local newspaper reporter and editor). The accommodations are charming (very "Victorian") and the breakfasts were delicious (especially the muffins!) which were served on the back porch veranda overlooking the small garden that provided some of the veggies for culinary creations served to us each morning. And as an extra little surprise, there were 3 restaurants with live music only 2 to 4 short blocks from the Inn - and the music was really good acoustic folk and rock.

I would highly recommend the Inn on Main Street to anyone who wants a great bed and breakfast experience at a very reasonable price!"

The Beazley House Bed & Breakfast

My husband and another couple stayed during the Labor Day weekend. Our first thoughts when we pulled up were "WOW, this is EXACTLY like the pictures." From there, we can not say enough good things. Service, food, availability, helpfulness....all TOP NOTCH! We felt like we were at home. They were very accommodating to our late arrivals with envelopes, cookies, instructions and even our early departure for our tours...they started breakfast early for us. I would WITHOUT hesitation give this my highest recommendation!

Thank you for making our stay AMAZING! Oh, and since we have been writing our reviews, we realized we left an IPad, bottles of wine, and who knows what else we will discover....they looked IMMEDIATELY and shipped out next day. This kind of service is very hard to find these days, and we are so lucky to have found the Beazley's!
