Anniversary

This was our first stay at a B&B and we didn't know what to expect. It was better than expected. Cindy and John were very nice and accomodating. Our room was beautiful and impeccably clean. It was very peaceful. Timphe cookies, fudge, and wine were a wonderful treat. It was a great way to celebrate our anniversary. I would defintely stay there again.

What a B&B stay should be like...

This was our third visit to Victorian Dreams and that says a lot as we have been to many B&B's but this is the only one we have returned to on multiple occasions. John and Cindy are perfect hosts and you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. We have stayed in three different rooms and can say they were all wonderful, each in their own way. It is a perfect spot for day trips to Madison or the beautiful countryside in this area. We came up for the colors and while it rained most of the time we still got some peaks of sun and it was well worth the trip.We highly recommend this B&B anytime of year!

Wonderful week stay

I was staying in temporary accommodation in Madison, but had to move out of my hotel for the week of the EPIC convention. I'm very glad I picked this bed and breakfast for the week. John and Cindy were very welcoming. I stayed in Ella's Veranda suite, which has a balcony overlooking the back yard. The house has an impeccable period look which is quite charming. Although they were not able to make breakfast before I went off to work, I was quite impressed with their ability to at least get some coffee out by 5.30 am. On the weekend I found out why breakfast wasn't available that early during the week - they are home cooked and quite elaborate. My wife and I enjoyed the breakfasts immensely. We're vegetarian, and John and Cindy had no problems accommodating our dietary requirements. The town itself is very small, and there are limited food options (we went to the only Asian restaurant, which is much better than it looks, and the Blue Spoon in Prairie du Sac is also good). However, the town is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is only 40 minutes from Madison.

A wonderful weekend at Victorian Dreams

My wife and I enjoyed a very relaxing weekend at Victorian Dreams. We wanted to stay somewhere close to Wollerscheim Winery and to the Frank Lloyd Wright home, Taliesin, in Spring Green, WI. The B&B location in Lodi was just perfect. A very quiet little town set in the beautiful Wisconsin countryside, but with many interesting things to do and see within a relatively small radius. Cindy & John were very welcoming and made wonderful hosts for our weekend. We really enjoyed visiting with them, getting dinner recommendations, and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic! The home itself is truly beautiful, and my wife and I enjoyed sitting on the wide, wraparound porch as the sun set watching the lightning bugs come out. It was a very relaxing and memorable stay for us - one we plan to repeat in the near future. Highly recommended!

The Perfect Place to Start Your Honeymoon!

We were looking for a nice relaxing place to stay on our wedding night and start our honeymoon. I can't imagine a better place to do just that! We stayed in Josephine's Jewel, and the room had such an inviting, pleasant, and relaxing atmosphere, it was the perfect way to end a long day. The in-suite breakfast was outstanding! John and Cindy were amazing hosts from the moment we booked our stay, making sure we would have a wonderful stay. We'll definitely be coming back!
