A great experience

We so enjoyed our stay with our host and hostess, Cliff and Joanne. They went all out for our comfort and made our stay special. Our room was tastefully decorated and spotless and the food was incredibly delicious. We would definitely recommend this B & B and would stay here again when in the area. We give this place five hearts in every category. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Paradise is an understatement...

Our first moment on your lanai was breathtaking. (We hurried back each evening to witness extraordinary sunsets.) We awoke each morning looking forward to a breakfast that was healthful, bountiful, and delicious. Throughout our stay, you were the perfect hosts, making us feel like welcome guests in your beautiful, immaculately clean home. Words cannot convey the tranquility and beauty of your waterfront location. We can't recommend your home highly enough to other travelers, and we look forward to enjoying your warm hospitality again when we return to Florida. All the best, B and G

Out of the beaten path

A secluded heaven, Joanne and Cliff went out of their way to make our little kid, my wife and myself feel right at home, and what a home ! Beautiful well maintained property, definitely will be back. Highly recommended.

Beautiful home, relaxing times

My sister and I were very pleased with our recent stay in April, 2013. The home is in a beautiful and quiet location, the hosts, Joanne and Clift, gracious and kind, and the breakfast delicious and enough you do not need lunch. This truly is a tropical paradise and I would highly recommend it.

Love this place

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and loved every minute of it. The hosts were always looking to make us feel comfortable and always looking for anything they could do to make our stay better. The breakfasts were great and they even let us use their little boat to fish out of for no extra cost.

First Timer

I was looking for a place to get away with my wife for the weekend. We came accross this house in one of the search engines and were a bit concern about doing something like this. After looking at their websites and reading the reviews I called Johanne and were very surprised at how friendly and courtious she was. My reservation was a last minute thing but from the the begining till the end it was great. The house was very clean, the owners are very friendly I enjoyed every minute of it. There are many restaurants to chose from in close proximity as well as some really nice sunset spots overseeing the ocean. The quality of the hot and healthy breakfast was unexpected. Overall it was a great experience. I don't see were to rate this place, but overall is excellent.

Appropriately named! It's Paradise!

I had to spend a week in Port Charlotte for business. Staying at Tropical Paradise made my work seem like a vacation. Joanne and Cliff are extremely gracious and generous hosts. The venue is magnificent -- beautiful scene of the sky and water, delightful pool, wonderful room and bath, and delicious breakfasts. I plan to return when I am back in Port Charlotte!

Three Days in Paradise

Our stay at the Tropical Paradise was thoroughly enjoyable. We stayed in The Island Suite and were impressed with the lovely decor and the spacious suite. We appreciated having a private entry to the pool area where we could view the water and pretty sunsets. Joanne and Clift are perfect hosts and graciously accommodate their guests. Each breakfast was delicious especially the generous amount of fresh fruit. We recommend staying at this b & b to anyone looking for a relaxing visit in a lovely setting.

Excellent B&B by the waterside

Joann and Clift run a most relaxing inn / B&B in a quiet residential enclave in Port Charlotte - equidistant from Fort Myers and Sarasota. Very comfortable house, bed encouraged us to sleep deeply. Joann's breakfasts were generous - lots of fresh fruit and yoghourt with a cooked main and endless tea and coffee. House overlooks the water and has a deep peace. We would recommend it highly
