Romantic Seattle Paradise!

We stayed here for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer! Penny does an excellent job of running their B&B and it is ALL first class! She had the TV playing jazz and the fire going when we arrived, and she had the refrigerator stocked for any kind of breakfast we could have wanted--on our own time! Which included fresh eggs from their chickens that were strolling around on the lawn! Such a romantic getaway for me and my husband! Loved watching the sunset from the hot tub and watching the planes coming in from our bed in the night sky....we will return! Thank you Penny and Doug!

Sweet Peace

After a long bit of travel time, the cottage provided us with just the right peaceful rest to restore our souls before exploring the area. The host thought of everything and left us alone to enjoy the view, the air and breakfast. LOVED IT!

Fabulous Bed and Breakfast with Amazing View

Three Tree Point was the perfect choice for my husband and I for our weekend away without kids in Seattle. We stayed in the Cottage and it was cozy and just right for a couple. We could see Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier from the windows and enjoyed a nice short walk down to the water at sunset. We had many choices for breakfast each morning and all of the amenities of a hotel but with the privacy and comfort of a home. The Whislers were wonderful hosts and provided us with restaurant recommendations, ideas for sightseeing and everything we needed to have a memorable stay.

Miss You already

When we started looking on-line for a room in Seattle I was in Sticker shock especially for hotels around the downtown area. I started looking at B&Bs and found TTPB&B, looked at the site and started booking the Suite for our stay...When the pricing came up I felt it was a pretty decent deal for all you get ( Free parking, Free WiFi & breakfast) so I booked it thinking it's gotta be better that paying almost $400 downtown. We received the email confirmations and communication all the way up to our stay. So we land in Seattle, get a car and start heading to the B&B...it's about 10 minutes from Setac, with GPS the place is a breeze to find. We park the car and see the sign for the suite and head to the room-the door was unlocked and we walked in to the living room nicely dimmed and the TV playing smooth jazz, we were like WOW! The room is really not a room but a small 1 bedroom house, there were cookies and candy laying out for us, the fridge stocked with soda, juice and water.  The one thing I thought was unusual is the way they served breakfast, all the food is there to make yourself..(as we are used to going to a set time for breakfast in any other B&B)....BUT in the morning after a long days travel there's just no way I would have gotten up early to go eat. the kitchen was well stocked with everything, eggs, pancake mix, milk, bread for toast, cereal, fresh fruit, danish etc...Now I understand why they do this and it is pure genius!!!  In the morning Penny came down to meet us and of course Callie too, and all I have to say is-if you never meet this wonderful woman you have missed out on knowing one of the most loving, caring fun people you have ever met. You can tell she oozes with love for her little peace of paradise and wants to share it with people. Penny goes above and beyond to make your stay as fun and relaxing as possible. I really can't believe how inexpensive it is to stay here, she could be easily getting double for all you get...it's a ridiculous deal and a half. The TTPB&B is a must stay while in Seattle. Our little suite was extremely clean cozy and made you feel extremely relaxed. Miss you already Penny.

The view was superb!

Dear Penny, The cottage exceeded our expectations. The view was superb! Especially the day of our departure on my birthday. I look back at photos any time I want to escape. Next time hope to come when it might a little warmer, though the fireplace was just perfect to remove the chill. Everything was perfect! except the time - too short, haha. Thank you for a wonderful retreat from our hectic lives. Kindest warmest wishes, Elizabeth & Raul

The greatest place

What a great place! The food, the fireplace, flowers, even the yummy rosemary mint soap! I hate to leave. This was a much needed break for the two of us to spend time together, without interruptions of day to day life. We will be back

Home away from home

This is an amazing B&B. We stayed in the cottage. Squeaky clean, beautiful kitchen and family room. Fabulous bed and amazingly quiet. It is more like a condo or a one bedroom house. It is totally separated from the main house. It has its own little yard, patio, and barbeque. From inside, which is surrounded by windows, you mostly look over other houses to the water of the Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier. Since the actual house sits adjacent to a dead end street, there is no road noise. The fireplace and huge chairs invite you for a nap, or read that favorite book. This is an unusual B&B due to the fact that is does not serve breakfast. On the front door everyday there is a newspaper. On the counter magically appears, every day a plate of muffins/danishes and cookies. In the refrigerator is a supply of everything you might want for breakfast including some special items with recipes attached. Perhaps this is to much like home, but we loved it. We could cook a candlelight dinner at night and watch the sun going down over the water, or eat lightly in morning before our beach walk. They even have a washer and dryer. The owner is wonderful. They never bother you, but if you ask they will help you with anything. Will stay again. This is a jewel glimmering in the Northwest. A place that feels like home.

What a find!

Private cottage with a well equipped kitchen, fully stocked for breakfast, washer/dryer and drop dead views of Puget Sound from every room. Wake up to a view of Mount Rainier. The innkeeper, Penny is what all should aspire to. She is friendly but not intrusive. The place is spotlessly clean, and she responds quickly to small requests with professional grace. My husband, who is very picky, said it was the best place we have stayed in years of widespread travels

Atmosphere and Service

Since our visit to Seattle was for a very special occasion, my wife’s 60th birthday, we decided to treat ourselves to a stay at the Three Tree Point Bed & Breakfast. We did quite a bit of research online and were drawn to Three Tree Point because of its amenities and online photos and the many positive reviews, not only of the BnB itself but of the hosts, Penny and Doug Whisler. We were not disappointed. Not only was the BnB a short drive to the airport but was also near the major highways so it was an easy commute getting to all the sights and activities on our schedule. We stayed in the suite and the accommodations and views were exceptional. Early on the second morning we were surprised to see a Bald Eagle fly by the front of the BnB. Penny mentioned there is a nest in a cove just up the beach. To see one that close was quite a treat. Unfortunately, due to the overcast days, Mt. Ranier did not grace us with her grandeur but just outside our door we were able to get a great view of the Olympic Mountain range. To make our stay even more special, there were treats awaiting us each day ranging from fresh bowls of fruits and berries to pastries and cookies. If Penny got a sense of your preference for a certain drink or food she made sure it was stocked for your enjoyment. Penny provided us with some local knowledge regarding restaurants and activities which made our visit unique and enjoyable. For my wife’s 60th birthday Penny surprised her with a beautiful bouquet of red roses. If you are searching for a place where you can kick back, relax and not have to think about anything but having a great time, I would highly recommend the Three Tree Point Bed and Breakfast. You will not be disappointed. M & M, Katy, TX

Thoroughly enjoyable stay

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights in May, and were completely satisfied with our stay in the suite. We were very impressed by the comfortable bed, stylish rooms, cleanliness, and beautiful landscaping of the grounds. Instead of a served breakfast, a well-stocked kitchen (fresh fruits, delicious pastries, eggs, etc) is provided. We loved this system because it provided a lot of privacy and flexibility. What really sets Three Tree Point B&B apart are the owners. Penny had great vacation ideas, was very friendly, and took great pride in providing us with a wonderful experience. We really cannot recommend this B&B highly enough!…

We will be back!

You can't beat waking up every morning to a gorgeous view of Mount Rainier. The Cottage is more than a b&b, it was our own house - separate bedroom, living room, washer/dryer (helpful with our 5 year old), and a full kitchen stocked with tons of goodies (our favorite being the giant bowl of freshly picked berries). The views were amazing and the location was close to the airport and within striking distance of downtown Seattle. Penny could not have been more friendly and accommodating. And you can't forget the cute little trail down to the beach. Great spot. We've been before and we will come again.

A lovely b&b

We couldn't have chose a more perfect getaway location to stay for our first romantic getaway. The suite was perfect in every sense of the word. It was modern, comfortable, rather large, private and the kitchen was well stocked. They had plenty of fruit for us vegans and we were thrilled that they considered our needs. The jacuzzi was right outside of our bedroom and we took advantage of it. One of the coolest surprises was how close to the bay the b&b is. Just a few steps away from the driveway is a secret little path that takes you down the hill in between houses to the water where we would sit and watch the tide roll in. This place is private and quiet and so different than a 4 star hotel because it's an actual house and hotels can be sterile and cold and pricey. Thie suite was worth the price and actually it was a bargain because you get so much more than a hotel has to offer. We loved our stay so much so that we will be repeat customers for years to come. It will always be the place where our love story began.

Relaxing, Romantic, and...Ranier!

Whether indoors or out, Tree Tree Point is the quintessential Pacific northwest refuge. Every need is anticipated and met in the spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated accommodations - from the daily provision of fresh fruit and baked goods to the reliable wifi and oh-so-comfortable bed. Penny was available, friendly and helpful whenever we needed her. We honestly could have had the perfect vacation at Three Tree Inn without ever leaving the premises!

Amazing Getaway!

We were thrilled with our stay at Three Points! We stayed in the Suite because the Cottage was occupied and we thought we might be disappointed but the suite was AWESOME! Very private, with breath taking views of the sound from all living areas and the bedroom! The sunsets will blow you away! .....and don't forget about the sleeping giarnt, Mt. Rainer. We loved watching for boats and we casually mentioned that it would be fun to have binoculars... magically they appeared the next day! Penny (inn keeper) was amazing and she and her husband thought of everything. Everyday we discovered delightful fresh eats and treats and the lovely flower arrangements enhanced the romantic setting of the room. (We won't ruin all of the surprises!) Penny was full of information and has a welcoming way that you wont find in any conventional Hotels/Inns. We never felt like our privacy was intruded upon but Penny seemed to always be available when we needed her. We initially thought the distance from the city would be a hinderance, but it was actually a wonderful welcome and quiet embrace after a long day of site seeing etc. The public transportation was easy to navigate and inexpensive. We did use Uber a few times but once learning the train we depended on it less and less. We are already planning our next trip! Three Points will not disappoint we would not stay anywhere else! Thanks Penny!

Get ready for optimum romance!

Last Fall was our first visit to Three Tree Point Bed & Breakfast. We stayed in the suite and loved everything about our stay. Penny was great at providing for our specific vegan diets while we were there. This year we returned as an anniversary and birthday getaway. We booked the cottage. The cost is a little more than the suite but we can see why. It is completely detached from the main house and has a large private patio and a second small deck. Each room has beautiful view of the water and the window shades open either up or down, allowing these breathtaking views in full view. Penny is so cute and quiet as a mouse when it comes to housekeeping. We leave to go explore and when we return, the entire place is all freshened up and there is always fresh cut fruit plates ready in the fridge! The travel sites do not do this place justice. The views and close proximity to the water is not emphasized enough. There is an adorable little path down the hill to the water. It's so romantic staying at the B&B. We make it a point to go back every year. Try this place next time you're visiting Seattle. You will not be disappointed!

Incredible Views and Hospitality

My wife and I have been to Three Trees 4 times now.. for a total of 18 nights. The facilities, views, amenities and location are the best anywhere in Seattle. It is close to the airport (10 minutes), close to downtown (20 minutes) and all amenities we want. The plus is the privacy. A++++
