Description

Circa 1885. Combining a historical heritage with modern conveniences, this nineteenth-century stone building was built using limestone quarried from the area's surrounding bluffs. The original clay ceilings and stair railings accent the decor. Themed suites and guest bedrooms reflect local history and its undeniable charm. Relaxing amenities feature a fireplace, whirlpool tub, microwave and refrigerator. Children are welcome, ask about family packages. A generous continental breakfast may include English muffins, bakery items from Lanesboro Pastries, cereal, fruit, beverages and French toast topped with strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream. A variety of museums and the Laura Ingalls Wilder Site are all within a 30-minute drive.
