A fine fall weekend. Awoke to a chill in the air and clear blue skies. We all had fun at the Edinburg Festival but ate too much. Excellent hospitality here as only Virginia can do! Hope to be back in the Spring.

Last summer marked my 10th July visit to the cottage & now I've just ended my first, too brief winter stay. I do hope you'll be able to have me back next July! The Jacob Swartz House is my home away from home and it is all because of you. Many, many thanks for your kind hospitality.

Thank you very much for providing us with such a peaceful get-away. It was so much more than we expected. Waking up to the sunrise over the mountain was the icing on the cake. The breakfast greatly exceeded our expectations. We look forward to visiting in the future with the rest of our family.

Very few places offer their guests a feeling of being more like part of the family, than a paying customer. We have treasured our visits here with you. We feel fortunate to have found your exquisitely secluded place, and warm hospitality that have become one our most favorite places to come visit.

Thank you for sharing your little "peace" of heaven with us! It was the perfect getaway from the chaos of city life! We really enjoyed the back porch - so peaceful and relaxing! Your breakfast are to die for - first time we had eggs Benedict and we're fans! The Green Valley Book Fair was great - a teacher's dream! There's nothing better than coming back at night to a cozy bed, open windows, the sounds of the forest and of course, a late night snack! Thank you again for your hospitality! We hope to see you soon

Paradise

Lovely, quiet, peaceful, relaxing cottage . Listen to the sounds of the rushing river and chirping birds. Saw my first ever oriole and grosbeek and returned home to find them in my own yard !! The hostess thought of every detail to make the stay more enjoyable. Delicious breakfast. Great antiquing at Straburg emporium.
