Romantic Wedding Setting!!!!!

I got married at Henderson Park Inn and it was like a wedding you would see in the movies! It was spectacular! The inn feels like you're in Cape Cod or Nantucket or somewhere up there, but it's here in Destin on the most beautiful beaches in the world!!!!!!!!

Beautiful place

My husband and I have been twice to the inn and have loved each visit. We are hooked now, and think about when we can go again. They have thought of everything and really know how to encourage romance and relaxation.

Awesome in Every Way

We have stayed with Henderson Park Inn at least 5 times in the past few years and it just gets better every time. The staff are all about your comfort and are pleasant, helpful and so friendly. The rooms are fantastic, the bedding, the towels and the view are all awesome. They do a great beach service and a "free happy hour" each day. This is a B & B, so breakfast is included and is fantastic. Made to order omelets, waffles, eggs, with grits, fresh fruit and lot's more. They offer a "free" box lunch for the beach, if you are ready to eat again. Then they have an awesome restaurant when you are ready for dinner. There are free soda's and snacks on site. You never have to leave the property! The beach in front of the property is private and this is an adults only B & B, so it is quiet and relaxing. Sleep with your patio door open and enjoy the sound of the ocean (and the views). Can not say enough about this place; no way will you be sorry, it is so worth every penny. The only negative is that you will NOT want to leave. Check out their web site to see all of their amenities

Romantic

Romantic is this Inns middle name. It's quaint, quiet, hospitable, and has so many great attributes, but Romantic is what it all ads up to.

Romantic getaway without the kids..

We've stayed here many times and it just keeps getting better and better. A charming setting adjacent to Henderson State Park. Lots of pristine coastline here away from the mob of tourists. A great place for a little R&R with your sweetie. Well-appointed rooms and the service of the staff is incredible! This is our favorite place to stay on the Gulf Coast...and we're locals.

Romantic Henderson Inn

The Henderson Inn is a lovely adults only hotel custom made for a romantic getaway. The secluded beachfront location is perfect for lounging around with your love to reconnect and relax. The food and wine selection are also excellent. We highly recommend this Inn.

Best. Vacation. Ever.

My husband and I stayed at HPI in November for 5 nights and it was the most perfect getaway we could've imagined. We were catered to from the moment we walked in to the day we left. We wanted an all-inclusive, but without the price tag of those in the Caribbean. HPI is as close to all-inclusive as you can get in the states, and we LOVED it. When we first walked into the room, we saw a welcome tray on our bed complete with a bottle of red wine, 2 wine glasses, 2 chocolates and some grapes. We woke up every morning to the sound of waves crashing literally right outside our balcony. Then, we would go downstairs to the most awesome of breakfast buffets. There was so much to choose from: cereal, pastries, bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits & gravy, fruit, juice, milk, and our favorite, the fruit-topped Belgian waffles. One morning, we also had the chef make us a cooked-to-order omelet. It was perfect. Some mornings we sat inside the restaurant overlooking the picture perfect beach and emerald waters. Other mornings we sat on the wrap-around deck and enjoyed breakfast. Keep in mind this restaurant is part of the inn, and it doesn't open to the public until 5 p.m. so only guests staying at the inn could enjoy breakfast, which is included in the price of your stay. After breakfast, we would typically lounge on the beach under the umbrellas provided by HPI; read a book, go for a walk, etc. At lunchtime, we would pick up our special-made box lunches that were delivered to the inn from a delicious local deli, complete with gourmet cookies, lemonade & tea. We would sit on the huge deck overlooking the ocean and eat our lunch there. Lunch, too, was included in the price of our stay. And that's not it. A few more hours would pass, and then it was time for happy hour! Bartenders would serve mixed drinks, beer and wine from the tiki hut on the deck. They timed happy hour with the spectacular sunsets so everyone could enjoy watching the sun set over the water (Nov. was the perfect time for this. Usually the sun sets over land in Destin) with a drink in hand. Each night we would have a fresh change of sheets, new towels, new wine glasses and more decadent chocolates. The TVs were small, but who goes on vacation to watch TV? Especially when the most beautiful of beaches is right outside your balcony? We stayed in a junior suite on the 2nd floor of the main building. It had a very spacious balcony that we used very often. The bed was very plush and comfortable; best nights' sleep every night. Our favorite part was that it is adults only. Kids are fun, but there is nothing like being away from all of the hustle and bustle that comes along with kids. The inn sits at the end of a cul-de-sac so there is no thru traffic; it's a very quiet and peaceful location. HPI reminds you why doing nothing but relaxing on the beach every once in a while is good for the body and soul. We will be back VERY soon.

Blessed Weekend

We have been to England, Italy, Monte Carlo and many places in the United States. But our all-time favorite place above all others is the Henderson Park Inn. Everyone associated with the HPI was courteous, professional and completely eager to please. Our room was amazingly romantic, the food was delicious and - I'm sorry, even though we have four kids - we loved the idea that there were no kids on premises. The peace and quiet was so great that we felt like there were no other guests, and I know that wasn't the case. The chef in the mornings was amicable to prepare anything we desired. Natalie Lightsey, the front counter person, was delightful, personable and professional. The cleaning service people were present but unnoticeable and quiet in the mornings...which is NOT the case is many other places we've stayed. All in all, we will go back as soon as possible. We simply loved everything about our stay.

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!!!

I can't say enough about this place! From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave, the staff is there to help you with anything you need. The location can't get any better and the building looks like something out of Maine. I can't wait to go back!!

Romantic Heaven on the Coast

A friend and I stayed here last summer and it was one of the most luxurious and wonderful places I have ever visited. Beach towels, beach chairs, icy cold soft drinks, water and candy bars available from a fridge near the lobby - all free! - and an included breakfast and lunch made this place really special. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and most have an incredible view of the gorgeous white sand beach. The Presidential Suite is especially impressive with a large living room, bedroom and interesting divided bathroom. An adults-only policy means it's a quiet, romantic and relaxing haven for adults.

InnSide Tip - Book the Presidential Suite!
If you can possibly book this suite, do it. It's huge, gorgeous - and has its very own fridge packed with soda, water and candy bars, all free. Fabulous!

Perfect Honeymoon!

I stumbled across an article about Henderson Park Inn while looking for a romantic place to stay for our honeymoon last November. Our five night stay there could not have been any better. It was an absolutely PERFECT setting! The staff was excellent and our room was lovely. We slept with the windows open each night and let the sound of the surf lull us to sleep. We also enjoyed the breakfast each morning very much. We will definitely return to HPI in the future!

most romantic inn in florida

The Henderson Park Inn is wonderful, a romantic getaway for adults only. I am a native Floridian, and I can say there is nothing else like it on the most beautiful beaches of our state. The rooms are beautifully furnished, excellant resturant on site, gorgeous beach next to state park, and the list goes on and on. My husband and I have visited on several times and will continue to return each year.
