Historic Interest

The Harrisville Inn was build by Persia Beal in 1842 and was originally a sheep farm to supply the local woolen mills. It has been the farm for the nearby Aldworth Mansion and the first woman doctor is said to have resided here.

What a wonderful experience

The main things I look for in hotels or inns is clean and comfortable. This inn went so far beyond that. Breakfast was like a 5 star meal, but served in a wonderful country setting. Highly recommend this place!

love this place!

I have stayed there a few times - each time with other friends. We all agree, it is a wonderful restful place and a very good bargain for the money.
