Description

Circa 1692. At the end of a quiet country road is this fieldstone cottage, a 300-year-old historic landmark made of sandstone and shale, with 18-inch-thick walls and hand-cut beams. Sitting next to Little Neshaminy Creek, adjacent to the 35-acre Ross Mill Farm, the Cottage is surrounded by more than 1,000 acres of private nature reserve. The first floor features the Main Room with deep-set windows, a working fireplace, a sun porch and full bath. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a washer and dryer. A spiral staircase leads to the modest sleeping quarters, two guest bedrooms with exposed beams. Cottage sleeps up to six people (rates are quoted for up to two guests and there is a two night minimum). Visitors will enjoy the scenic beauty and famous sites of Bucks County. Children and pets are welcome.
