Treasured Find

What a treasured find! This is a beautiful bed & breakfast/event center located out of the busy hustle of the city. It is nestled in a quiet country setting within close proximity to the city of Blackburg. We celebrated our anniversary evening there. The accommendations were immaculate. We had a beautiful spacious bedroom with a private bath including an airjet tub. It also had a private patio. There are many ways to spend your time here from hiking and exploring the property to sitting in the hilltop pavilion or pondside gazebo reading a book. The owners have taken the time to consider every need and want for their guests. They helped to make our time there complete. This will definitely be a place we will visit again and share with all our friends and family.

Could not get coffee

This place sits on a treeless, shadeless mountain top. The parking lot is gravel and muddy, not convenient for an event where people dress up. I drove 500 miles to get there, and I was early for a wedding and starved and thirsty, and the caterers refused to give me food or a cup of coffee, repeating over and over "We're not authorized, Ma'am." I found all the "ma'aming" insincere. It took the groom to "authorize" them to give me something in advance of the planned event time, even though I told them I was fading. I went back to the car to put my make-up on, I felt that unwelcome. I could care less and wouldn't write this review, but this place is way out of its league. Its not a "Maison" (that would presume some hospitality) but a barn. Sorry. I will NEVER come here again and would not recommend for an event. Dusty, no shade, muddy in the rain, made me feel uncomfrtable when I arrived early for an event so I didn't even wait inside but waited outside with my car running for air conditioning (this all happened on a hot day).

Enjoy The Moment

Enjoy The Moment! Maison Beliveau - what a beautiful and relaxing paradise. I spent several nights at Maison Beliveau's Bed & Breakfast in preparation of attending a wedding in their gorgeous wood paneled event center. The innkeepers, Joyce & Yvan Beliveau were very warm and welcoming and offerend the finist breakfasts I have ever had! I had a specialty dinner made and Yvan does a great job with the tenderloin! What an event we had and the caterers were wonderful offering generous portions of their delicious food. I would recommend Maison Beliveau Bed & Breakfast as a wonderful place to treat yourself, and the event center as a great choice for a special occasion! Enjoy!
