Huron House Bed & Breakfast

The Huron House is very romantic, private, the grounds are lovely, the staff is pleasant, and the view from your private deck is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this B & B to anyone and will be staying there again in the future. The Oscoda Room is decorated beautifully and the king size bed was very comfortable.

Huron House is definitely the B & B to share "Special Moments" with your loved one. It is one of Michigan's finest. We would highly recommend; especially for those of you that are first timers to a B & B. We even enjoyed a room-in hot rock massage. We will be staying again.

My husband and I have stayed at Huron House a few times and never get tired of it. It's romantic, peaceful, and absolutely lovely. There's nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the waves lapping at the shore. The rooms are beautifully done, very spacious, and very private. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruits, coffee, croissants, or a delicious fritatta. Denny and Martie are lovely hosts and provide a quiet ideal getaway for couples to relax and enjoy.

The Huron House is so beautiful and it was perfect. We've never been to a bed and breakfast before and we were going to try somewhere else this year but we didn't want to go somewhere else because we were afraid it wouldn't be as great as the Huron House. Everyone is friendly there too :)

Great location, beach and room. We stayed in the Sunrise Room. The breakfasts were well done. Very restful and thoroughly enjoyable. With the kitchenette (microwave & refrigerator), one can always supplement the breakfast meals or take meals in town--G's pizza isn't bad. Will definitely stay again.

A beautiful destination. Spacious, exceptionally clean, quiet yet a fun beach and beautiful views. The staff was warm and friendly. A place you can get lost in your thoughts, a book or the water. Most enjoyable

My wife and I stayed here on our way home. I wish we would have stayed 2 nights and not just one. Of all the B&B that we stayed in this was the best.

From the friendly service, to the comfortable rooms, this is a little slice of heaven. The view, the privacy, a private beach, all combine to make this an unforgettable experience. I will give a simple example of why this place has a special place in our hearts. On May 19th, 2006 I suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. We were scheduled to be there the following weekend for Memorial Day. Obviously, we missed the trip. My then fiancee, now my wife, was able to reschedule with no problems. We went for Labor Day that year. The following May, Jessica became my wife. When we returned to Huron House that Fall, not only did they remember that I had almost died the year before, they also remembered that we had just gotten married. They left us a complimentary bottle of champagne with rose petals on the table. That's service! I can go on forever; but, I'll simply sum up by saying that this is a yearly trip for us. We recommend it to anyone who wishes to have a little time away from the world. Hector

We stayed for our 25th wedding anniversary night out and loved it! The rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean and so comfortable. Very private. Friendly staff, free bottle of champagne and breakfast to our door completed our stay. Told all our friends. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed in the Oscoda room and it was absolutly gorgeous. The fireplace, the jacuzzi and the amazing view was so very romantic. When we made reservations a month ago to go to the Bed and Breakfast we thought we would check in then go and visit the sites and go out to dinner. Once we checked in and we saw the amazing room we never left again until we had to check out. We have decided that this is where we are spending our yearly romantic weekend. We stayed at Huron House for our 25th Anniversary. We were welcomed by a lovely woman named Bev who couldn't have been kinder. The room was beautiful. We were thrilled to find a bottle of champagne courtesy of the inn waiting for us. Everything was clean and beautiful. The decor was lovely and calming. Only complete would be that the bed was so high I needed a step stool to get in (I am only 5'). This did give us a chuckle. The breakfast which was served to our room was wonderful. Coffee was perfect. We will definitely make a return visit.

It is one of the nicest B&B's we have ever visited in the world. Rooms are clean, scenery is divine, and the staff is outsanding.
