It is because of these resorts that Huntsville bed and breakfast inns have prospered. Snowbasin Ski Resort has been made famous by the fact that it is a venue of some Winter Olympics events. This resort, which also has a biking trail, is only two miles away from the center of Huntsville. Snowbasin Ski Resort offer 2,500 acres of fun in the snow. For those who would rather ski in more rugged conditions, the option would be Powder Mountain Ski Resort.
