House of Sea & Sun Bed & Breakfast

The House of Sea and Sun B&B is likely one of the best B&Bs in St. Augustine. The own/innkeeper obviously has a great deal of knowledge on hospitality and how to treat people. The guest doesn’t have to worry about putting on any airs of sophistication, because they make you feel at home the entire time…It was a refreshing experience for me. Also, because its right on the beach, you’ll have the most peaceful stay you can imagine. Its location is minutes away to all the attractions, including the old city, so you’re just a skip and a hop away. The rates are very good, as its actually less than most fine hotels. Breakfast is excellent too, and with the view of the serene St. Augustine beach, you can’t ask for anything more. Great place to have a wedding, a honeymoon or even a second one. Basically, it’s a wonderful place to stay.

As a frequent traveler to B&Bs I was pleasantly surprised to find this beach side gem a few years back. I have travelled extensively in the US and abroad and stayed in some of the finest hotels in the world, but never have I had the incredibly personal experience that Patty provides at the House of Sea and Sun. Besides the stunning house and location, the absolute attention to detail in the service is bar none. The scrumptious breakfasts, delightful happy hours and impromptu dinner parties make even the most jaded foodies drool in anticipation. We have not slept in all the rooms yet, but it's on our "bucket list"! We will definitely be back again and again!

My wife & I stayed here some time back. I would recommend the suite downstairs with French Doors opening directly to the beach. It was an experience that keeps us looking for a B&B that can match it!! .... it is worth it
