“Best we've been to”
Catherine K12/21/2010
We have been to at least half a dozen b&b's in Wisconsin, including the famous Door County, but this is by far the best for a romantic getaway. We'll definitely be back.

“Wonderful stay”
Mary Ellen CHudson, WI

Our stay at the Honeybee Inn was just the ticket for us. The room was warm and cozy, the whirlpool tub inviting and a fire in the fireplace topped it all off. We especially enjoyed the decadent chocolates that were on the bedside table. Breakfast REALLY exceeded all expectations. Barb is a fabulous cook and her presentaion is gorgeous. We will be back!

“The Perfect Romantic Getaway”
Ashley M2/2/2010
This inn totally exceeded our expectations. So often pictures look great but the real thing is lacking. In the case of the Honeybee reality was fantastic. While it was cold and miserable outside, inside was warm and welcoming. We were quite content to just curl up in front of the fireplace.
Barb added to the ambience with her attention to detail and caring. Breakfasts were fantastic.

“Superior Accomodations”
Nora K2/2/2010
I stayed at the Honey Bee Inn on business, but made note of the wonderful touches throughout the inn that would make it the perfect place for a romantic stay. The luxury, the privacy, and the beautifully prepared breakfast and the very friendly innkeepers are more than you expect. I hope to return for a much more relaxed stay with my husband, so we both can enjoy all the amenities.

“Elegant, Romantic and Comfortable”
Gail BLos Angeles, CA
2/1/2010
The Honey Bee Inn provides an elegant yet comfortable environment that is just right for a romantic getaway. Our room was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and immaculate. After a day of sightseeing, we thoroughly relaxed with an intimate soak in our room’s private whirlpool tub. We also enjoyed our time in the lovely common areas. The spaciousness allows for privacy or shared conversations depending on your preference. Our breakfast, which was ready when we were, was a rare experience; both the taste and presentation were unbelievable. We will definitely visit again, and soon!

“Romantic Newlywed Getaway”
Nicole CIowa City, IA

My husband and I stayed at the Honeybee Inn during the weekend of our reception in the area. It was cozy, quiet and so romantic. From the decor and atmosphere of the Inn, to the bed that we seemed to sink into, it was like breathing in relaxation. It was perfectly romantic. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back in time to that special weekend--I can't wait to stay there again!

“BEST B&B EVER!”
Lauren R2/1/2010
I have recently stayed at this Bed and Breakfast with my husband, and we both agree that the experience was the best we have ever had. We have stayed at a lot of bed and breakfasts, but the HoneyBee Inn had, by far, the best food, hospitality, and accomadations. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace and would recommend this B&B for everyone and anyone! You have to stay!

“ROMANTIC BLISS”
Laurie SRandolph, WI

My husband's birthday falls within a week of Christmas, which led to a most romantic and enchanting stay at Honeybee Inn Bed & Breakfast. The elegant Victorian mansion was impeccably decorated for the holidays, both inside and out. The hustle and bustle of the holidays were a distant memory as we relaxed in our room, which included a warm and cozy fireplace, a relaxing whirlpool bath, a luxurious bed and fine linens. The friendly innkeepers, Barb & Fred, presented a delectable homemade breakfast which included delicious stuffed French toast, pure Maple syrup, smoked apple wood bacon and more. We were so relaxed and refreshed upon our departure that it was nearly impossible to believe that our stay had been a brief few hours, rather than several days.

“Honeybee Inn B & B...to die for”
Betsey DLake Mills, WI
2/1/2010
My husband and I have stayed at the Honeybee twice and we've given our sons and their wives stays as gifts. Every stay has been absolutely perfect. When I'm not there I'm thinking about when I can go again.
The setting is so lovely, every furnishing is cozy and luxuriously rich. Barb is the best cook ever and her breakfasts pamper the way the good life was meant to be! My husband and I spent our days walking the trails to see the beautiful area and all the bird life! Amazing and so humbling and relaxing. The nights by the fire...ahhhh.
You can't find a better retreat or value for your money anywhere!

“A Romantic Inn Like no Other”
Mark PBayfield, WI

This was our second stay at the Honeybee Inn. The innkeepers here are phenomenal. They have left absolutely nothing to chance to ensure the ultimate B&B getaway. Our room, the Queen Bee, was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The linens and towels were luxurious. The Jacuzzi tub was just what my wife needed, and the amazing shower with 9 shower heads was so nice I didn't want to get out. The breakfast we were served was delicious and very filling: I had to skip lunch that day. The pineapple with toasted coconut was a favorite of mine, as well as the delicious scones and the thick, smoky bacon. Horicon is a cute little town with amazing wetlands and the famous Horicon Marsh area. You owe it to yourself to spend at least a night at the Honeybee Inn.

“Food to Die For”
Kevin DMadison, WI

We have stayed at the Honeybee Inn a number of times in different seasons of the year. It is always immaculate and beautiful inside and out. And, romantic doesn't even begin to describe the experience. If your tastes extend beyond curling up with a good book in your terrific room, or enjoying the pleasant company in the delightful parlor, there is plenty to do in and around Horicon. No matter what you do for fun or recreation, however, the best moments of your day will be when you gather in the dining room to partake of Barb's culinary delights. She is the world's best cook. Altogether a first class experience.

“SO Romantic!!!!”
Amy HMinneapolis, MN

I stayed at Honeybee Inn for my 1 year anniversary with my husband. We stayed in the Queen Bee. The room was so clean and beautifully decorated. The jacuzzi tub was brand new and incredibly clean. My husband and I checked in and unwound together in the jacuzzi. Then we went down to the living area and sat by the fire sipping tea that they provide. Barb and Fred (the owners) were wonderful hosts and though we didn't venture out much, they were available to help us with anything we wanted. We each got a massage the next day in their new massage room. But first we had what might be the best stuffed French toast I've ever had. Heaven! All in all, it was a perfect weekend and we will definitely go back. Maybe we'll make it our anniversary tradition!
