Description

Circa 1880. Fancy gingerbread trim decorates the wide veranda of this two-story Victorian settled in an acre of magnolias and century-old hollies near the courthouse. Heart-pine floors, tall ceilings, antiques, a grand piano and china, crystal and silver service for breakfast set the mood for a gracious inn stay. One of the house specialties is Baked Georgia Croissant with fresh peaches and toasted almonds. It's five miles to Callaway Gardens and 20 miles to Warm Springs.

Weekend Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Magnolia Hall! The owners were very hospitable, the breakfast was delicious and the Inn and our room were very beautiful. We hope to return in the future.

Great Place! Great People!

We've stayed three times so far and really love it here. It's a nice home away from home. Dale and Ken are wonderful innkeepers. The breakfasts are outstanding and their home has a lot of character. It's nicely furnished; bedrooms are very nice. This place is wonderfully decorated, but is very comfortable and not pretentious. Ken is a an excellent pianist and plays during breakfast. Have recommended to several friends.

Great place away from home

This was our lst experience in a B&B. The owners were gracious and welcoming. Enjoyed the other guests.Breakfasts were delicious and the atmosphere made us feel special. They accommodated people's diets; even served me a hot spiced milk similar to what I drink at home. Slept well; had choice of pillow size. Very relaxing weekend.

A Haven of peace and tranquility

My first stay in a B&B. Dale and Ken were wonderful hosts, anticipating needs and providing more than expected. A basket of homebaked goods, the beautiful and very comfortable room and peaceful grounds, tucked away from the chaos of everyday life - exactly what we all need! I can't imagine a better place than this. I'll definitely be returning!

Mothers Day

May 27,28, 2010 Our children gave us a two night stay here for Mothers Day. This was out third stay at Magnolia Hall. We have found that Ken & Dale are personable, thoughtful and make you feel welcome. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. A gourmet breakfast, a basket of treats in the room and refreshments in the evening. This is the best B & B we have ever stayed in. Betty & Guy

Wonderful birthday vacation

Detailed service and elegance surrounds you from the time you are greeted. More and more extras than we ever expected kept being lavished on us during our stay; even live music for breakfast! Ken and Dale are extremely gifted to be gracious hosts. You will not be disappointed with your stay with them!

Great for Groups

House is decorated beautifully, each room having a theme, lots of antiques. House is very well kept for the age of the house and many modern conveniences along with items of the past. Went with a large group and rented the house for the weekend, was a wonderful place to meet with friends. Had a scrap booking weekend retreat. It Was the first time a group ever stayed at the house, innkeeper was overwhelmed at first as we brought in our own snacks.... but all in all was a very nice place

Beautiful and very comforable.

The Holly House is a beautiful bed and breakfast! The rooms and bathrooms have all been updated and meticulously decorated. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Judy is always available and helpful. Callaway Gardens and Pine mountain hiking trails are about 10-15 mins. away. .

An Overnight Pleasure

The inn was easy to find & just off the main highway. Judy was a perfect hostess...as friendly & as helpful as can be. Our room had all the little touches of authenticity & the house itself was a pleasure just to tour. Breakfast & the company we enjoyed capped off a special night for my wife & I.
