Hollister is in Taney County in the state of Missouri. Hollister is one busy place if attractions are what you are after and to start with, you have the Veterans Memorial Museum which will provide you an emotional trip as a national tribute to the men and women who defended the country. Hollister is also famous for its golfing opportunities with the Top of the Rack Golf Course which was designed by the world famous Jack Nicklaus himself and the Murder Golf Course which provides some of the most challenging holes in golf. Do not forget to stay at any of the Hollister bed and breakfast for that restful night in town. The kids can go visit the Ralph Foster Museum which features exhibits of memorabilia from the 19th and 20th century. A wonderful tour of the Ozark region should also be in the offing with the Branson Scenic Railway.

Nestled in the scenic Ozark Mountains of Southwest Missouri, Hollister is just across a short bridge from downtown Branson and only minutes from the Missouri-Arkansas border, providing quiet surroundings and easy access to the many area attractions and beautiful scenery. The Historic Downing Street district features several antique shops in a row of Elizabethan structures included in the National Register of Historical Sites. Lake Taneycomo is stocked with 750,000 rainbow and brown trout annually.
