Historic Interest

The inn was built in 1902 by Isabel Holden, the wife of a wealthy Colorado Springs businessman. Each of the guest suites are named for Colorado towns in which the Holden's owned interests - Aspen, Cripple Creek, Goldfield, Silverton and Independence. The surroundings are furnished with beautiful antiques, many are family heirlooms. The Clark's meticulously restored the property in 1986 and subsequently added a Victorian carriage house and Queen Anne Victorian next door.

A wonderful experience

Thank you for a wonderful experience! The suite was perfect for our needs and very thoughtfully appointed with every feature a guest might need. We loved the cozy balcony as a place to start the day or relax in the evening. The kitchenette offered a convenient way to bring along and fix picnics for our day trips. We also loved the beautiful parlor as a spot to read or watch a movie. The bedroom was also beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We also appreciated the delicious breakfasts and the efforts to provide gluten free options. Not all B&Bs provide GF entrees for breakfast and the special versions of your dishes, such as crustless eggs Florentine were very thoughtful.
