Circa 1882. This pristine brick Italianate manor was once the home of a prominent Lafayette family, but was later turned into apartments. In 1996, it was painstakingly restored to its former glory. The home boasts crown molding and ceiling medallions, gleaming woodwork and intricate wood floors. Fine Victorian antiques and appointments decorate the inn. Three guest rooms include a fireplace, and the private baths include either a whirlpool or clawfoot tub. Guests are pampered in Victorian style with a full breakfast, afternoon tea and turndown service. The home is located in Lafayette's Centennial historic district and is close to many local sites, including Purdue University.
