Heritage Manor

We really enjoyed our stay at the Heritage Manor in Aline, OK. The Inn consists of three early 1900 houses joined to form a large manor full of antiques of all kinds. We were free to roam the Inn to admire the numerous antiques. There is even a small fish pond in the basement where Koi are kept. There are tons of books to read in the library and throughout the Inn to satisfy every taste. There are platforms on the roof to admire the sunsets and stars. There are several porches and patios to sit and admire the scenery and wildlife. The grounds are an experience of a Garden of Eden. There are many paths through the woods illuminated by strings of small lights that lend a magical experience. Throughout these paths are ponds and folk art that will bring a smile to your face. We even picked wild sand plums to take home with us. Heritage Manor is located far away from the beaten path and is full of flowers and humming birds. It is very quiet and restful. AJ and Caroline are excellent hosts and made sure we were very comfortable during our stay. They were fun to talk to about their experiences running the Inn and how it all came together. The food is excellent and served on antique china with additions of homemade sweet pickles, jams and spiced apples they canned themselves. Note that we purchased two jars of homemade sweet pickles to take home with us. They have additional sauces, jellies, etc. that are available for purchase. In addition, they have a large garden from which they provide fresh vegetables to the meals. To say we had a great time is an understatement. If you are looking for a private getaway for romance and peace, this is the place for you. We liked it so much, we purchases a gift certificate for a stay for a relative. We will be back soon.

Heritage Manor Rest in the Country We enjoyed our two days at Heritage Manor. The highlight of our stay was the service of the innkeepers. The house is over 100 years old and filled with antiques which Carolyn and A.J. told us about and demonstrated. They were cordial and the meals were wonderful. This inn is several miles from any town, very quiet and the sunsets were beautiful. One morning we surprised a flock of turkeys.
