Henry Clay Inn

114 N Railroad Ave
Ashland, VA 23005-1517
United States of America
Innkeeper(s): Ann-Carol Houston

The original inn on this site was built in the 1800s, burnt down, rebuilt and burnt down again in 1946. Now, this country inn's exterior is an exact replica, built in Georgian Revival style. The parlor opens onto a balcony and drawing room, perfect for social or business functions. Guest bedrooms and suites are furnished with antique reproductions featuring pencil-post, sleigh, acorn-post and cannonball beds. Several rooms boast large Jacuzzi tubs. Meals are conveniently enjoyed at the on-site restaurant. A gift gallery features local artists and artisans. Choose from several porches to relax on before visiting local historic sites.

STAFF OVERSLEPT...NO FOOD or WiFi.

Henry Clay Inn

BEDS TOO SHORT. THE STAFF OVERSLEPT UNTIL 10AM SO NO BREAKFAST. Only staffed during biz hours so if you arrive late (past 5pm), you must pre-arrange to have the key made available with details instructions for the treasure hunt to find it. They offered a $10 coupon for our next vist which won't happen. WiFi WAS NOT AVAILABLE The delay of the staff caused us to miss crucial meetings in order to wait to arrange storage of our bags. We had to do this because as stated before, ALL OF THE STAFF LEAVE AFTER BUSINESS HOURS.
