Located on the historic Lewis & Clark Trail and the Nez Perce Indian Reservation, there is plenty to explore. Stay in a delightful guest bedroom or suite in the main lodge filled with upscale amenities including wood-burning fireplaces, custom-made canopied beds with antique headboards, Jacuzzi tubs for two, embroidered robes, covered decks and balconies with a view. Families enjoy Hunter’s Cottage, a two-bed garden cottage. Start each day with a satisfying gourmet breakfast at the Hearthstone Bakery. The private mountain ambience is enhanced by the river view balconies, fireplaces, canopied king-size beds, exquisite European antiques, Jacuzzi tubs, plush guest robes and other unique amenities.
Willowbrook is stately and elegant with two taupe accent walls and blending pastels. A stunning light and airy room. Muted floral window scarves frame majestic views of mountains, forests and river from each window. A canopy of plum and pastels rises regally over the circa 1860 headboard. Lovely pillows mound appealingly at the head of the bed and a cozy coverlet lays across the foot of the bed.
The fireplace is flanked with two unusual curved and comfortable chairs. A handsome European fiddle table sits between the two easy chairs. The Alphonse Mucha prints which adorn the walls, were brought from Prague by Marjorie. The pictures and prints in the room are fabulous and conjure peace. The closet has 8 foot high, custom mirrored wardrobe doors with a fascinating art shelf above. A burnished wood desk welcomes letter writers. Many other small fine touches such as one of a kind lamps and books, create a charming, restful environment to soothe the spirit of its occupants. $125.00-$140.00/night
