Headwaters of the Yellowstone
Box 259 Olson Lane
Gardiner, MT 59030-0025
Breathtaking views of Electric Peak and the Northern edge of Yellowstone can be seen from each guest room of this inn, situated along the banks of the Yellowstone River. A mere three-and-a-half miles from Yellowstone National Park lies this two-story, traditional bed and breakfast, built by its owners and hosts Merv and Joyce Olson, who proudly completed construction 1999, only moments before their first guests arrived. A retired Lutheran minister and a teacher, the Olsons have long awaited the day when they could provide down-home hospitality to the many travelers who come to the area they hold most dear. A wide variety of outdoor activities await each guest, from fishing and hunting to river rafting and horseback riding. Do not be surprised if you are greeted by the many elk and deer that wander through the three-and-a-half acre property, as well.
