Description

Circa 1853. Long ago, this two-story Greek Revival was sawed in half and the west side moved nine feet to accommodate new hallways, additional rooms and a staircase. A wall was then built to divide the house into two sections. The rooms are decorated with antiques, the innkeeper's collection of handmade crafts and other collectibles. Two of the suites include a heart-shaped Jacuzzi tub. Offshore breezes sway blossoms in the lush garden. Cross the street to an excellent restaurant or take a picnic to the shore.

Home away from home

Harmony House was everything we hoped it might be. The owners are a lovely young couple and provided warm hospitality, wonderful breakfasts and information in helping us discovery this wonderful town. A perfect getaway. Thank you.

Quiet and relaxing!

This is a very lovely and unusual house. Our corner, first floor room was large and very comfortable. Ed and Sooki do an excellent job with their breakfasts. You are within walking distance of so many restaurants, shops and the lovely waterfront of New Bern. The beach is only a 45 minute drive from New Bern.
