Circa 1882. Innkeeper Ruth Barton's great-great uncle, Isaac Hallock, built this Queen Anne Victorian. The home is an architectural gem, featuring high ceilings, ornate woodwork, carved pocket doors and a built-in china cupboard. And as is the Victorian tradition, several porches decorate the exterior. The home is across the street from the site of an old stagecoach stop, which bought an abundance of cattlemen into town, many of whom stayed in the Hallock House. The innkeepers offer stable facilities and an exercise area for guests traveling with horses.
