Description

Circa 1897. A Queen Anne Victorian home, named for the first owners, has been transformed into a relaxing retreat. The inn previously served as a residence, hospital, nursing home, and boarding house. Period décor is highlighted by original building features such as oak woodwork and eight-foot tall pocket doors. The main house boasts five unique guest rooms with private bathrooms and queen beds or two full beds. The spacious and private Carriage House features a fully-equipped galley kitchen, dining table, sitting area, king bed, fireplace, and two-person spa tub. Guests are treated to a complimentary glass of wine, beer, soda, tea, or coffee upon arrival. The gracious hospitality continues each morning with a two-course breakfast; guests in the Carriage House are served breakfast in their room. Spend the afternoon sharing stories under the vine-covered pergola or explore Lanesboro and historic Bluff County.
