This 40-acre estate near New York City boasts the best private fly fishing on the Willowemoc River. The inn has five guest bedrooms and three private cottages, one is located on the edge of the woods and across a footbridge that spans the river. This cottage has two bedrooms, a living room, an outdoor Jacuzzi, covered porches and even an enclosed dog run at the back. Guests in the main house and the cottages have views of the pond, woods, river and gardens. Breakfast is a sumptuous beginning to an active, or perhaps, a leisurely day. It includes items such as freshly pressed orange or grapefruit juice, eggs, French toast, pancakes, Belgian waffles and blueberry, corn or oat muffins. Near the inn are golf courses, many tennis courts, hiking, riding and biking trails, cross-country skiing, ice skating and a dozen antique stores.
